Not that only BOC family card and UOB One is eligible

For card that your bank have exclusion, you can use cardup to earn point or miles~

E.g. POSB/DBS exclude insurance payment to earn point, which you can pay via cardup to earn :s13:

POSB/DBS exclude Cardup

Yes

To everyone..kindly note that all DBS and POSB cards are excluded on cardup

The banks that has tie up with cardup are
bOC, citibank, uob (this mean that they are not excluded) - this doesn't mean that banks that does not tie up is excluded. Just that u will have to scrutinize the TNC

New to cardup.

1. Currently, paying my income tax by monthly giro from my uob account. I also have boc family card. Presumably, after I sign up with card up, i can set recurring monthly payment for my tax using my boc card but do i need to cancel my giro standing instruction with uob?

2. is the max $30 rebate mentioned here counted towards the max rebate of $30 for online purchase, meaning if use up $30 rebate for cardup, then any other online purchase no more rebate? And in turn, this $30 count towards the $100 max rebate for this card?

3. Finally, can someone kindly send me the code? Thanks.

Anybody knows?
Maybe less or nobody tried before. 1st the online rebate for OCBC 365 is not attractive after minus the cardup fee. 2nd the tnc exclude many items that cardup payment support. From OCBC 365 tnc:
Retail transactions are purchases for goods and services and exclude the following transactions:
(a) Payments made via telephone or mail order;
(b) Subscription and recurring payments;
(c) Payments to government institutions;
(d) Payments to financial institutions (including banks and brokerages);
(e) Payments to insurance companies; (f) Utility bill payments;
(g) Donations;
(h) Payment of funds to prepaid accounts and merchants who are categorised as "payment service providers";
(i) Payments to schools, hospitals, professional services providers and payments for parking lots
(j) Payments of membership fees to clubs and associations;
(k) Payments made via online banking;
(l) Any other transactions determined by OCBC from time to time.

So high chance OCBC will exclude cardup if the banker check what cardup payment categories.

Generally, I believe banks won't know what Cardup was used for. Cardup don't use the credit card to follow up the payment to billing organisations. I believe they use bank transfer.

But DBS has excluded Cardup so maybe it is a matter of time OCBC follows too. Understand that UOB is an investor in Cardup so maybe they will continue to support.

Sorry if I'm not clear, "free" in the sense for rebate cards offering > 2.6% rebates. Especially for payments that do not take credit cards and you'd have to pay for it anyway.

Anyway, this is a miles card and not a rebate card. If you're looking for rebates, then this is the wrong card for you. For a miles card, most people on this forum are fine paying for Citibank PM annual fee, $192.60 for 10k miles, which works out to $0.01926 per mile. So paying extra 2.6% for 2.4mpd works out to $0.010542 per mile, which works out better than the annual fee option.

As per above. Buying miles is fine, as long as the rate is sufficiently low, plus this doesn't consume much of your time. I've used to do mileage runs, which involves buying dirt cheap air tickets that gives miles, then actually flying the flight to get status miles plus redeemable miles, but changes to the program have deemed this not that feasible anymore. With double qualification miles promo, I can be gone (and flying) for one weekend and gain 30 to 40k elite qualification miles as well as redeemable miles.
which card do u use?

I email cardup before about OCBC365, they replied said it is not considered online. Cardup will know which card is considered online
