I email cardup before about OCBC365, they replied said it is not considered online. Cardup will know which card is considered online

Based on their interpretation or actual testing? They don't really have more information than us, unless someone tested and feedback to them.

CardUp FAQ

What information will I need to send a payment?

If your recipient is in our system and accepts CardUp payments electronically, we will already have their funding information on file. All you need is the payment amount, a due date (which is the date by which the funds must be with the recipient) and any reference you’d like to use to identify you as the payer. For rental payments to a landlord, you’ll need to provide additional information including an electronic copy of your tenancy agreement.

Wow HL bank has been added. It was not there a while back.

Once we do the HL bank with Cardup, do we need to cancel the GIRO with HL bank to avoid duplicate payment ? Or any issues if we cancel the GIRO (some firms do not allow to cancel GIRO)

Hi all

Saw a bit of discussion going on about Cardup and the different card rebates
Just wanted to share that CardUp transactions are not eligible for the 3% online rebate for OCBC 365 Card and 6% online rebate on Frank Credit Card.

Thank you for stepping forward to clarify about this. So there is no more guessing.

What is the customer usecase for this cardup?
I read their website it looks like you pay some travel package indirectly with both bill subcontracting plus fees.

Does it make sense really? Compare to buying a package from zeng brothers?
