Good luck to those who put money into this. Very aggressive marketing + promises of extremely high ROI are already red flags. I already had my doubts about Castlewoods from day 1.

There are already some angry reviews on their FB page. They are probably deleting negative comments from their FB posts.

https://www.facebook.com/CastlewoodGroup/reviews/

I wanted to invest the min 30k back then when it started... then when they knew i got more, they tell me to buy more lots ...

I start suspecting when they say if i invest more they will adjust the ROI % more ...

In the end i tell my sales guy no ... they HOD call me and i say i match him every dollar he put in ... but in the end he did not invest which then i guess already ...

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

Wise words.

Wow... agreeing to adjust their ROI the more you invest LMAO. Epic!

And the part where the HOD was willing to invest as much as you invest. :s13: This is already a huge red flag.

I only want to know if the hotel is up and running.

Not paying out dividends is another thing.

The hotel is up and running though. It also has traveller reviews.... but how much of the hotel is really owned by Castlewood is another thing. :s13:

Maybe the hotel has nothing got to do with Castlewood in the first place

Or maybe a short-term partnership between both parties

Lets see if can dig out more info

Unfortunately, as this is outside the legal protection framework, MAS/CAD will most likely not be able to get your money back. The most is Castlewood honchos will be charged for cheating and sent to jail.

You want legal protection? Go buy bonds or shares in a company and traded on the SGX. Either you're in, or out. No grey areas.

So where is the guy who keep defending this scam? I already said as long as the name is listed on MAS alert list, it's 99.9% gone case. MAS alert list is the last step before getting exposed as a scam.

They all talk big at first, then usually they all disappear and hide whenever it gets exposed as a scam.... :s13:

I remember he defended, saying in the alert list doesn't mean company is scam...

Isn't the fixed returns only 5 percent?
Why does people say its a red flag?

Anyways, if the business is closed down, they do not have to pay dividends. There are always business risks, just have to accept your investment has tanked.

That's the whole idea. We were saying years ago that this business looked like it was going to tank - whether or not it was explicitly a scam, they were paying unsustainably high returns.

When i rejected the sales man on xxxk investment ... he ask his director to call me.

I ask him how much the director invest he say some. i ask him for his investment proof... never called back.

His land title deed is in different companies name so there is no linked with castlewood.

Lastly i was monitoring what these guys are doing ... sponsor football, sponsor porsche cars during F1 ?

If you are an investment company where does these money come from ? even from your own pocket, how do you answer to your investors ?

I shake my head and hope i was wrong since there are so many gold / money scams ...

I differ .. the returns basis 30k make sense but above 100k does not.
more power pack desperate move ... 10k also can invest ...

When i asked in case i need my money back before due date, saleman say dun worry can get back but maybe lesser ie. 80% ... everything ok and no problem...

Cover by first insurance USA ... blar blar blar... then when i did not invest due to documents inconsistency .. haha ... i see more loopholes ...

The CEO posted on the Castlewood FB in reply to a bad review.

"My name is Chris Comer. I am the CEO of Castlewood Group. As owners you have access to your own personal portal where information when ready will be shared with no hesitation. So I wonder why you revert to posting nonsense on here. Which only serves to damage the good reputation of my staff, the property and Castlewood Group. To answer your questions if you are genuinely an owner at Castlewood Group? Audit finished end of March. Submitted for approval and sign off April. Summarised month of May by Singaporean Auditors and delivered by end of business today 1st of June 2016. Delivery as promised professionally and most importantly accurately. The hotel was open approximately 5 weeks in 2015 and you are looking for returns? Really"

This sentence not simple. Might default.
