It's not selfish, it's being realistic. Singapore is small, so it cannot accomodate so many foreigners. Even HDB has rules about how many peole can be house in a flat. Is that selfish part on HDB?

it is possible to have 10 million in sg

Already know how daft the general populace is but as long as PAP continues to remain as they are now. Its only a matter of time before they explode.

don't be selfish.. if 1 day you migrate, let's see if you keep up your stance.

Don't worry, people who migrate knows what they are getting themselves into.

People who are born here on their own soil though is a different thing.

Just look around youself also, how many are squeezing in MRT trains and buses? As for phones, it becomes a necessity in working or business life, how can you use this as a justification of not living frugally? High HDB flat price are self inflicted meh? High makan price is self inflicted meh?

Even if we want to live frugally, do you mean we can look for a HDB flat with $20,000? Do you think many stalls are selling lunch at $1.50? :s22:

Problem is the GRC system. It's more like a party lost to another party rather than candidates lose to candidates.

Are you saying that if 1 soccer player is good, 5-6 players on that side should play in the team? Any of the 11 single good player should be in the team by his own merits, not drag along a few other people.

You are saying President Election which is a different system to GRC system?
How do you make a comparison when the system is different? It's similar to a SMC system only. And if you mean that, that would be more rational.

As for the %, it should not be like a 1-2goal share 1/3 trophy thing either because that competition is a either or competition, in our system, it isn't a either or system. And it shouldn't be and it isn't one. I don't see how you can say I think it's like that.

A parliament is not a either your team or my team competition. It comprise of different parties and should have different % of representation. Not to say that it has to be an exact representation of the % of votes, but should be closer to the reality. There is no need to be extreme in thinking 40% of votes=40% of representation in parliament. But 40% of votes representing only about 10%?

You don't win all the seats just because you won 60% of the votes.

If the results end up in PAP winning just 0.1% plus void votes every now and then in every GRC and SMC, they can in fact get less than 60% and still win ALL the seats. It is mathematically possible.

The GRC system is a group of people. So when they go they ALL go, just like George Yeo. I don't see the reason of it being a problem.

And that's exactly why GRC is a problem.

The GRC system is a group of people. So when they go they ALL go, just like George Yeo. I don't see the reason of it being a problem.

It is a problem because not all who voted for WP wanted George Yeo to go.
You can't see that? Like seriously given a 1 vs 1 situation, George Yeo is unlikely to lose his seat. It only happens because of the GRC system.

I mean like seriously you really think in a one vs one George Yeo would lose his seat?

Like really very seriously?

60% voted for the GRC system and probably more in this election.

So locals love the grc system because they don‘t like local politics and they don‘t like to vote.

Let see I am panicking due to my MNC company cannot sustain the back order then move out is the alternative and I will loss my job sad life. But I have so many old Singaporean colleague also may lose their job and other dept also dare not think of it anymore.

Your MNC most likely move out due to high rental cost, lousy FTs skill that causes productivity down, high transportation cost due to COE and ERPs. No wonder Singaporean are now feeling fraustration.
