No, the PLA is typically reluctant to overstate their ability. I’m not sure if they’re trying to bid for time by hiding their strengths or what. But it’s often the case that the Chinese will deny whatever new capabilities discovered by the western intelligence services. Like general milleys Sputnik moment (just an experimental spacecraft). Or the discovery of new nuclear missile silos (wind turbines!). China almost always play down those reports.

Chinas population is more than 10x and its industrial capacity is unrivalled. It will out produce the entire western world. It’s military budget is 5x russias.

you never heard of something called underway replenishment .... technically...the US aircraft carrier can remain at sea for as long as it takes in times of war....

No of course not. It’s less to do with resuppling and more to do with maintenance. Carriers have to adhere to a regular maintenance regime. Sailors need a break too. I’m sure they can push it during war time but there is a limit.

What is the point of all this carrier building when they can be taken out easily by a simple missile?

Or have I misreadany posts here from experts saying US carrier fleet is useless due to the anti-shipping missiles the CCP has at its disposal.

Would seem likely US have similar weaponary , so would that not render these ships useless?

the impact of missiles in a conflict is overstated and over-exaggerated ....most people would think that once a missiles is launched...it will reach its intended target interrupted...but most missiles are actually wildly in inaccurate....and that's if they don't get intercepted by anti-missiles.....in China's missile arsenal now.....those really expensive and highly accurate missiles are actually quite few....Russia has used over 2000 missiles on Ukraine....and look how that turned out...

Sorry, can't agree with that. they are always boastful, even from the time when they are still stripping down the Russian junk, before they even commissioned their first aircraft carrier. They do downplay at times but for a different reason, it is to hide their exaggerations and to copy/ modify other people's inventions. Ever wonder why their J10 is so awfully familiar? Or their Stealth vessels design look so similar to the US/ Europe? Why do they need to purchase MiGs, when they are fully producing their own aircrafts?
