Does it has good coverage (i.e not only below the fan can feel the wind)?

Thanks!

I can't give a fair assessment cos I have it in my master bedroom above my bed. The wind definitely feels strong enough within the room. Had to buy a Fanco for my living room due to size constraints, and between the two, I felt the KDK slightly better in terms of coverage.

So far so good. Main downside is that the remote control does not have a screen display, so can't see the fan speed. I don't use the wifi function either. Bought it mainly for aesthetic purpose.

Take note that if you buy from JB, you will need to buy a fan hook (RM 3) to install in Sg.
May I know how come need the xtra fan hook for SG? or does it depend on whether low ceiling or high ceiling?

Also, any feedback on the LED light? Went to see at showroom, but feels abit weak (could be distortion by surrounding lighting).

Not sure why cos that's what the Tampoi salesman told me. Anyway it's just RM 3 for one hook and one fan only needs one hook, so the cost is negligible.

I found the light bright enough for my master bedroom. But if you like to read books on your bed, you might find it not bright enough.

Any ceiling fan experts know what are my options for dc fan with e27 lights? Not keen with led lighting options.

I ordered it last year when travel restrictions were in place. They arranged the delivery with fees paid to the logistics partner in SGD.

after delivery still cheaper than SG?

I messaged them on Facebook and one of their salesperson liaised with me over Whatsapp. Replies were generally fast.

Yes, still way cheaper compared to Sg but of cos, you won't have warranty for the KDK fan in Sg. I also bought track lights and bulbs from them.

I don't recommend putting lights above the ceiling fan's blade.
The "blinking" effects once you turn on the fan, you will get a headache for sure
How far must the lighting be away from the blade? For my new house, I intend to use those track lights or those led strips. Confirm it is above the ceiling fan but maybe away from the blade

Have to decide on the spot during installation, the angle of the beam needs to try and error if you don't want that irritating blinking effect

Not satisfied, rework waste everyone's time
Yes I have done that to electrician/contractors

You are dealing with a different kind of workers, you need to be on-site for certain works, else you will regret it.
Unless you have $$$ to spare to hire a project manager to oversee the whole work

So they will place first then they test? I thought usually they install then run away

https://www.kdk.sg/blog/post/how-to-choose-the-right-ceiling-fan
a seasoned electrician will have more precise input (based on actual usage) on this i feel
"Firstly, as a general rule for optimal performance, a minimum clearance of 60cm – 80cm and above from the tip of the blades to the nearest ceiling fixture (e.g. as concise/false ceilings, L boxes/Beams, etc.) is required for the installation of a ceiling fan. This is to ensure better air circulation and cooling."

Thanks for this link. With that rule, I am choosing a 35" fan for my small room.
