Bestar seems cheap. 300+

The rest are all 500+.

Any comments on bestar?
went to heritage to try few hugger fans - aeroair, alaska, spin, eco, po

aeroair is strongest followed by alaska..
po is a smart fan.. hav good testimony frm a 4-5 yr user
eco fan hav likited color option

Guys, anyone bought hugger fan lately? I read somewhere saying Alaska is very windy. Any good, reliable and economy brand? Around $300 per fan

Noticed Alaska sells Haiku and Aerohaus fans. But Aerohaus's website doesn't list any of those fans on sale by Alaska. Seems like Alaska's own fan.

I prefer KDK for it's reputation for reliability but wife very much prefer the timber/ white base design which KDK doesn't have. So I've roughly narrowed down to Alaska Curah (Aerohaus?) and Aero Air.

I would go with the Haiku if it has a lower profile mount and brighter lightings...

The Haiku 20W LED is sufficient to light up my dining table for dinner for six..

Actually

20W 1 light is good enough. My dining area has 5 downlight of 10W each. Switch on all 5 basically blind everyone (too bright and not comfortable machiam hospital). Switch on 3 of them basically feels ok. Rather comfortable but I think can still be dimmer. Switch on 1 already can but maybe a bit dim. So I think 20W maybe the sweet spot? Every fan company whack 20W, I doubt they so cock to all get it wrong?

I see, it was the store owner who said the Haiku is 'not bright enough' and asked me to consider the Alaska instead. And the Haiku on display in his shop doesn't have LED.

Is Haiku fan worth the high price? I'm looking for a smart ceiling fan too. Also looking for corner fans. Googled and noticed Three Cubes Lighting selling a lot of smart appliances including smart fans. Anyone has experience with them? Thanks.

I think Haiku is for aesthetics and bragging rights. Functionally, I don't feel it any more superior, at least for me la. I heard of people who say the wind is different etc. but maybe my skin not sensitive cannot feel. PRISM recently launched smart fans, and not expensive, you can try it out. Personally, I like my KDK Airy smart fan better than my Haiku

Yes, I heard of that before, though not uncommon in the industry, which is abit shady. Hence this is something worth checking before buying.

Yeah and worse their warranty starts based on invoice date although I bought the fan 3 months earlier and only delivered 3 mths after invoice. They refuse honor warranty as claim expired
