I wonder if this wrong label is just one off or a whole batch of WD Blue is labelled wrongly. If it is a whole batch wrong label, then I'm sure there will be other customers who had received the same wrong item as well.

My earlier purchase on this item was delivered correctly about a month earlier.

Could be the later batch issue.

Kind of overpriced for a low sustain write speed.

I am using this drive as well. Don't experience any low sustained write speed that you mentioned. Most if not all reviews on this drive are positive. Moreover depending on individual's usage, likelihood of sustained write to the drive is very low.

I think the fellow read the chart wrongly. The chart says "higher is better", but the graph chart shows those drives at top of the charts are lowest sustained write speed, while the fastest sustained writes speed they put at below of chart.

So if you read the chart, "higher is better".....without looking at the write speed, you would interpret those those drives on top are the best, when in fact they are the slowest. :s13:

Did you use any enclosure to test it?
Or just put the HDDs one-by-one direct to Mother board system to test?

Sorry missed this message,.. these test were all done by directly connecting to the motherboard. If you introduce the USB port the figures will surely drop as there is the highway will have additional bottlenecks to deal with.
