i read a few forums apparently thats the case with some androids, that it doesn't support adhoc networks till a later version of firmware comes out :(

no la.. it is about the make of the internal wifi card chipset la.....my prototypes so far ok...even the 2.2 is fine...

Got this from Singpost article tracking ......

" Status Description

20-10-2011 - Arrived from overseas (Country code: CN)

21-10-2011 - In transit to (DBCHI) "

Should be getting my Novo7A next couple of days! Placed order on 11 Oct. Slightly less than 2 weeks wait, not that bad.

Was quite surprised actually. Maybe some fluke where a postal worker in CN tossed mine into a bin meant for earlier shipping. :s22:

Do not buy the 4GB version. It's likely merimobiles mistakes in the description. It is likely the basic version, which uses a weaker processor:s22:

Take a look at the Q&A of Telcast P76 they are selling u'll know. 1st they say it's capacitive screen, next Q&A they say it's resistive. P76 as far as I know only have resistive screen, just like Novo 7A as far as I know only have 8GB version.:s12:

I cheapo Charlie lah! Free postage. :s13:
Actually it's just that I can wait and don't feel like paying more than nec for this. Need somethg with reasonable pricing and more portable than my lappy for simple surfing/emailing on the go. Also, to learn/pickup Android. :)

I am also using free postage :D, it took forever to process (it's been 5days and not it's not shipped out yet)

anyway, my tracking no. for the screen protector looks weird
eg. : ABC123456
Shouldn't there be CN behind it? :s11:

I made some 'noise' to them wrt why they take so long to process. They pointed out in a small clause for sale items that it may take up to 5 days for processing. I LL ! :s13: Yup, if u look again it does say so in the sale webpage. Also, the 5 days does not include Sat, Sun & Public holdays! Anw, hang on in there it won't be long now.

Cheers
