Not sure if LG IPS panels are indeed better than non LG ones. This seems like a damn good marketing strategy to differentiate Teclast from the rest. However, the main selling point to me is still the provision of a HDMI out.
My U9GT2 IPS screen is really good. I'm not sure how much better the LG one can get.
Last compare shots, U9GT2 IPS compare with Ipad screen is better. But compare with Ipad2, it's still not as good.
So the real question is which LG screen did A10 use.

But comparing 999 RMB product with 1499/1399 RMB product a bit unfair lah (499RMB can buy a nice 7" tablet)

It's like comparing Ipad2/SGT10.1 with U9GT2/N90.

Personally I was all in for U9GT2 2 months ago, but the price kept me a hand-length away. Then all the 1st & 2nd batch review made me uncomfortable. N90 came, I was also not that impressed, especially near year end still want 1499 RMB.
Teclast A10 impressed me with it's price and LG panel used. Finally 9.7" IPS tablet breaks the 1000 RMB mark. It sets a standard for other future 9.7" tablets price. It came earlier than I'd expected. I was thinking maybe 1299 RMB then drop 1099 RMB then 999 RMB.
Not say unbrand IPS screen not good. Sometime it's better than branded ones. But a branded name does add points to it's value.
