Actually my ICT not physical stress, but mental stress for me. It's like a form of confinement with nothing to do:s22: My mind rot to the extend I'm can't sleep well:s13: (Or maybe it's the lack of IT products withdrawer).

Anyway, the review is sort of a theraphy to get my mind working again after 5 days of ICT. It's kinda fun to be able to crapped stuffs online=:p

Just hope the Gemei G2 will come before the sgshop CNY closing... But most importantly those lucky cats!!!:D

I am looking for an 8" tablet, capacitive (even better if IPS) screen mainly for reading, surfing and videos - less for games. 4:3 format will prob be better for reading.

I have identified the Ramos W13HD - just wondering if anyone has any opinion on this tablet or can suggest something better for ard the same price (ard US$250).

Many thanks.

US$250 ?Kindle fire is already there for u .Good specs(even for gaming) ,smooth and large community support.

thks for the suggestion. i already hv the galaxy tab so was looking for something a bit larger. also wary of kindle continually trying to prevent people from accessing the android mkt with their firmware updates. will need to keep on reflashing just like for my ipad!

You so used to those high end tablets already if u buy a non-brand china tablet :D Quite sure u cannot tahan one the performance(very sig)/quality difference later . Go look at the marketplace 2nd hand branded tablets prices ranging from 200-500 ,verified performance and reviews online.Hope that helps.

It depends how you look at it. I have a A500 and just gotten the G Note, still interested to get a couple more tablets to play.

I call them cheap trills:s13: Cheap stuffs u play until bricked or worst dropped for whatever reason, heart won't pain. New is still better than used.

Also some China tablets does not under perform a branded tablet. Try getting a Tegra2 tablet to play a 2160p vid;) Or do a benchmark to compare RK2918/Allwinner A10 with Galaxy Tab. Or try some or the latest 3D games with older generation branded tablet with the lastest China tablets.

not really true lah, Ainol holding out because of elf and aurora.:s13: Ployer firmware u test and make sure the launcher is working correctly.

2 firmwares update they still cannot get the UI on Momo11 to operate smoothly compared to Teclast A10 default firmware:s22:

i dunno about momo11, but my momo9 android 2.3.4 firmware 2.0 is very smooth without any problems so far. and its wifi definitely better than novo7a which i have owned before.

"My screen had 2 bright pixels and 2 bad pixels, it's something that I'd expected when I ordered a Ployer tablet"

i think your statement is quite unfair to momo, even teclast A10, onda Vi40, yuandao n90, cube u9gt2 also have people gotten ips screen with dead pixels, thinks it is just a matter of luck.

If you think my standard is unfair, you are welcome to give your actual experience regarding dead pixels of the tablets u had mentioned or give trusted reviews of owners who reported dead pixels on those tablets.:D

I'd actually pasted a review here from a Momo11 buyer who returned his Momo11 after finding a string of dead pixels. There was photo to proved it. So my 4 problem pixels is just minor compared to what that guy encountered.

I recall there's another guy who had a bunch of dead pixels on Momo11, but we can't count that, cos there wasn't even photos. So I bought momo11 with that expectation.

MAYBE it's coincidence, but it does happen more on Ployer products. AND Ployer does have a track record of having problem with their 1st batch products. If you don't believe read up on Momo9 reviews when it was 1st released. Read on their other products like MP4/PMP.:s8:

I don't know how many China tablets u actually bought, but Momo11 is my 3rd. The previous 2 had no pixel problems. G2 coming in soon, which I don't expect dead pixels.

U9GT2 I don't recall anyone in China reported dead pixels, mainly are 1st batch screen problems with leaked currents, dead screen and faulty digitizers.

after i bought my momo9, i have bought 9 more for friends, so total 10 sets all together.

i checked on every set before passing to them, none of them including mine have dead pixels, maybe i am lucky?

go and read up each and individual purchaser reviews of the tablets i mentioned at taobao, and u will see this problem is not exclusive to ployer. some just accept it and live with the dead pixels, some just returned it within 7 days.

And that was the 1st batch? The batch that has 3200 mAh battery and not the 4000 mAh or 4200 mAh ones.

I'll give u another example. Teclast A10 and Momo11 came from the same factory, T A10 came out just days before Momo11. Momo11 with better better specs was not even selling 1/2 the amount on Taobao.

T A10 was out of stocks and Momo11 wa sthe only 999 IPS tablet left. Dispite all the brand bashing done on T A10 still gotten sold out, and if u do a readup there isn't much talk on the dead pixels. Also it kinda show people don't have much confidence in Ployer brand.

I assumed u read up all the comments before you commented that those tablets u mentioned had much dead pixels problem? At least i did give my review of dead pixels on momo11 and had pasted a review sometime back of dead pixels of momo11 from another buyer.

In any case, I do hope the other bro who had gotten Momo11 do not have pixel problem.

I have no brand loyalty (Not a seller), I just say what I'd experienced or came to conclusion with based on read ups & normally will pasted why I came to that conclusion (just read back on my posts, or those frequent here would know). I do not promote any particular brand. Even Ainol Novo7 series I'd commented negative on some areas.:s8:

In any case most reviews are bias anyway. I don't see you having problems with those:s13:

those are not actually reviews, they are just short comments from purchasers of that tablet from that seller from taobao, they called it 评价详情

whether the problem is serious or not that i dont know, but am sure have seen remarks about dead pixels from the few ips tablets i metioned.

The prob with branded tablets is the limited choice for certain sizes. There r very few between 7 to 10" - i can only think of the Galaxy Tab 8.9 but that is still very new n super ex

Yes I'm aware they are ratings review like in Ebay or Gmarket. And my question is have u read those those buyers comments of the tablets u mentioned also having dead pixel problems.

Also I don't understand why do you only quote a sentence out of my write review and tries to make an issue out of it. I'm not being paid or brided (with samples) to write "OH! Momo11 is a perfect tablet for everyone":s8:

I don't see a problem writing out my expectations of Momo11.

Seriously all i'd read about your experience with Momo9C (Since you never answered my question if your orders is 1st batch, I assumed it's momo9c), is that it's pretty good and you have ordred 10 sets.

If you can do a review and tell everyone how good it is and how it compares with other devices. Why you think it's good, what's the performance is like. Battery life, what mods u did, etc.:D

edit: even spammers are doing reviews to draw in customers for their crappy tablets^^;

mine shouldnt be the 1st batch, all ordered between end nov to end dec momo9加强版.

u can have your own views on certain brand, not a problem to me at all. but just try to pass fair comment when comes to certain aspect. if dead pixels only found in momo11 and not other ips tablets, then your comment will be fair.

already mentioned in my previous posts, i have read and come across purchasers remarks about dead pixels in those few ips tablets i mentioned. but i never said is serious cause i do not know...

8" you wait for Bmorn V9 deluxe bah, see if have 1GB RAM. Firmware update might be a problem.

Vi30W deluxe and Vi30 deluxe already have a small community, but 512MB not really worth to get anymore:s8:

Thks. What about the ramos W13hd? Seems a bit ex though. The 10" vi40 elite is actually $50 less!
