my guess is 3500 mah or maybe 3200 mah like G2 G2 play 3D games can last 3+hrs.

Thats nice. But I just bought the vx610w which has 3800mah, expecting to get by next week.

399-435 RMB vs 475-499 RMB
edit: regular support vs qq group support

edit: I'm very close to pulling the trigger on G3, really keen to see what a <S$85 tablet is like... lol

That's why I don't get why you all willing to let SLS earn S$130 for N90. S$130 can get u 1 more 7" tablet liao.

Warranty with SLS or "local" online sellers are questionable anyway. China side don't want fix the tablet a few months down, u think these sellers have their own techs to fix the tablets? Also normally if you stock to OK brands, normally the tablets don't break down that easily.

Anyone who purchase electronics before should knows they either breaks down within the first few weeks/1 month or they last for around 1 year. In any case using S$380 getting 1 N90 vs <S$380 getting N90 + G3 (vis Taobao), is like worth betting for.

Somemore online China sites, you have better chance of buying from the brand authorised retailer or even the flagship online shop. If Window (example) don't even want to entertain their authorised retailer on warranty issues, u think those 3rd party sellers got a better shot with warranty?

edit: If SLS N90 is S$280 I'll most likely won't say too much, taking into account they have retal and salary. But at S$380 is a bit too much.

I'm actually surprised on the battery comment. The user said he activated his G3 at 10.28am with about 50% battery. He used 40% brightness, full volume, wifi on, surf net, upload file, play games till 1pm when the 15% warnning appear. It auto shut down at 1.10pm, meaning 2hrs 42min Pretty good for a 3000mah battery.

Wifi he commented decent, but from what I gathered it's about that of Novo7A, maybe a little better. If's it's like G2 then it'll be great...

Screen sensitivity is good, build is decent (reminds me of Novo7A with metal back shell), but the screen on one side (touch button) can be pressed downwards. Meaning the screen not fitted very well.

Tempted but I still would had prefered 399 RMB with charger and OTG cable. Maybe wait and see if it'll drop more or some event later

U'll notice when u swipe from one end to another. Most will prefer flat panel not only for the better access on the edge of the touchscreen, but also for the appearance. Concave looks too much like a MP4

If you look at the shell of G3, you'll see there's an area with plastic. Also the side is plastic material. Meaning the shell design doesn't affect Wifi. However, I'm concern that the wifi is that of Novo7A (plastic shell).

Gemei G9 I would recommend if it's not 1199 RMB. At 999-1099 RMB would be a better price point. Maybe it'll drop soon. As for A10t, I'm not impress by the screen.

You can also look at Uppo 8003, also uses glass screen like G9. Glass screen normally you see better color and touch sensitivity is better. But do note Uppo is not one of the bigger brand for China tablet.

But then Haipad isn't a total shanzhai... there are some models like year that made it to slatedroid 599 RMB for a IPS screen even though with only 512MB is gonna be worth it 8.5mm is really cool too. This has to be the cheapest 7" IPS tablet announced so far...

8GB was the pre-orders I think Look closer at the screen of A10T and 8003. See which one u like more. As far as I know 8003 released their 0.9 4.0.3 firmware a couple days ago.

I collected my vx610w from sgshop today and I like it a lot. Problem is, it is on android 4.0.3 , any android market that i install force closes and there is no way to get apps. Anyone can help me with that? Thanks!!

Preferably below 250 even better under 200!
Prefer non-china brands as I heard it doesn't work too well in the long run.
3G not really impt since I will be using hotspot from my Samsung phone.
Prefer less laggy, those that runs fast.
Prefer with camera
Using it mainly to watch read pdf, supporst MS ppt n sometimes watch video + surf v basic websites e.g. fb.
Since I will be using it for reading most of the time, I wonder if they can be like the Amazon Kindle, with those non-glaring lighting for tablets? Or isit a software?
I heard these few are cheap but I am not sure if we can get them in singapore n if they support reading on MS ppt n pdf

after thinking about Gemei G3 for days, I finally placed order via sgshop. Just hope I'm not too late & there's still ready stocks. Yesterday I see Gemei authorised guangdong taobao shop only like 60+ unit sold, now at 101 with 10 units left

Was gonna get the 399 RMB PD10, but decided not to. Reason is their "dual-core" is CPU+GPU, their 1.2GHz is 800MHz + Mali400 TCC8923 also new chipset, don't have any firmware to fallback on. Unlike A10 is hard to brick, TCC8923 may not be soon
