Probably got to look at what you are looking for in the tablet. I dun have the specs with me now but I can check it out for you when I get back. One probably has more features that the other.

I would say given the pricing of the tablets now, dual core tablets are the best way to go now. I have just collected my Onda Vi30w dual core. Probably do a review when I get back :)

alright, let me know how it is, thinking of getting the dual core.

one question, the vi30 dual core is called vi30w is it? or is there one that is just 'vi30'?

I just posted my mini review in another thread. There are many variants of the Vi30. Be sure to get specifically the Vi30W dual core.

You can check the link above. If you are looking for something cheap and value for money. You can probably consider the older A10/RK2918 tablets out there as well :)
Thanks. That has been useful. Just a quick check, I was checking on some models with a local seller, and they mentioned OEM instead. I have read somewhere from other sellers claiming OEM is cheaper and not original, and advise against getting OEM versions. I'm not sure if this is just marketing talk from the authorised sellers against their competitors, or it is really so. What's your take ?

My experience with China-brand tablet from local agent company

I was waiting for Yuandao N101 tablet for over a month and when it arrived via a local agent company, I was the 'lucky guy' to get the worst set among the 40 that this company brought in.

Even though they claimed to do a quality check, and I also did a quick check on the device and found nothing wrong. But within the next day, I discovered that the wifi can't be turned on and there is not choice but for me to return it within 3 days.

I got refund but couldn't get back my $50 shipping fee. I was very disappointed and even returned my now useless cover that I bought from the agent, back to them.

This agent company can't do anything else for me except to refund me since there's no way of knowing when the next shipment will arrive for a one-to-one exchange. And even if I hang on to my device, there's no guarantee that there will be a firmware upgrade to resolve my issue.

I can only blame myself to be just damned suay to be the one getting the lemon amongst the 40 sets and pay $50 for my lesson learnt.

China brand tablets are cheap, easy to buy, but don't count of getting any support from manufacturer and the local agent company can't help much also.

I've got myself a $1,100 Asus Transformer Infinity with the best specs, reputable company with constant firmware update and warranty. I can easily buy 3 sets of Yuandao with the price I paid for my Asus, but at least my Asus works beautifully out of the box.

I wouldn't close the door entirely on China-brand tablets, but it will take a lot to convince me to plunge in again after my big disappointing experience.

the china tab do have high risk...had 6 of a certain 7" tablets..2 went down the drain in 2months. Of the many9.7", had only 1 lemon. However, had some friends whom had terrible experience. Those reputable makers do have issue as well...had a "fruit" brand pad that issue..and had change 3x units...

Risk is always there..just how high or low

7" IPS 1024x600 screen. Looks good. 酷比魔方 U18GT豪华版. My chinese sucks so idk if it's good or bad but for RMB399 i think quite cheap.

Sorry, chinese also not very good so finding hard time navigating the website. Anyone has any idea how to order and get it shipped to Singapore?

Better read through the review first though. You can look for Hirakawa in the MO section. I'm buying my tab through him.

Year, it is exactly what he/she means.By the way, are you shopping on Tmall.com? As I know, their language is not English and they don't accept Paypal, why not choose other E-shop like beltal.com?
