I Decided to give iOS specifically iPad another try.... Ipad2 to be exact. Used to own ipad1.. And after 3weeks, I sold off my ipad2 again... Can never get use to the iTunes syncing part. Im more of a drag n drop person.....lol. So ur best to me is just another not user frenly gadget.

syncing part is quite tedious at times, i took months before i know how to sync with my first iphone until my gf shows me how..

just sharing, some android tablet can actually plug in thumbdrive direct or just insert memory card, no sync headache

Just received my Novo7 from taobao yesterday. Firmware at 1.5.1 but updated it to 1.6 as it improves compatibility with various issues.

Never really tested it out thoroughly yet. But battery life seems good. However, screen resolution wise 800x480 just doesn't looking very appealing as compared to the novo8 which looks a lot better with it's 8" and 1280 high res screen. If it wasn't for the battery life being so short on the novo8 I would have got that instead.

Anyway, most china tablets have inferior screens.

Overwriting the permissions folder after flashing the 1.6T screwed up my wifi (signal is there but cannot surf) so I suggest you don't replace it. Though the author mentioned that his permissions file can enable market to display all apps. Also, 1.6 already comes rooted.

Besides, mermobiles offers a 1 yr warranty I suppose. You buy from taobao, if item is faulty, who are you going to find?

can try download "quadrant standard" from market and test and see what is the scores
