Hi everyone,

Thinking of heading to chiangmai for a 5d4n solo trip in Feb. First timer to thailand also.

Have some questions:
1. Is feb ok time to go chiangmai?
2. Which area to stay in CM?
3. Which hotel recommend for single traveller and first timer
4. Convenient way to go CM from airport? Which airport to fly to?
5. Sightseeing attractions?

Wanted to try Khao Kho but seems feb not good time to go and also need book driver and car

February weather should be like Singapore here.

I checked around and finally booked Prestige Chiang Mai for my coming LNY Trip. It's located very convenient and few minutes walk to Maya Shopping Center.

Cab from Airport to Hotel just about 15 mins and cost about 200 Bahts ?

Chiang Mai is situated on the Northern part of Thailand so its cooler and there will be a number of nice sightseeing.

Just Google, there is a lot of places to visit.

I just came back few weeks ago and I would say that its worth it to go. Most memorable place I went was don inthanon. Went there to see sunrise with my gf and her sis, and had very simple porridge meal there. Temperature there was about 5 degrees. Chill there for a few hours enjoy the weather, drink coffee and enjoy the scenery.

Yes,last month or dec the weather was cooler and also raining quite heavy.
February pple tends to visit the beach instead of the mountain cos it can be very warm in the afternoon.
