what's the cheapest tablet with a nice screen for reading manga from MiHon and Netflix or some other app to watch stuff

my ipad air 10 had huge splotches

which the apple store in orchard says I have to pay 600 for fixing the screen cause the battery life is still over 90 percent

but they only fix at the discounted rate of 180

if you can get the battery life down to 80 percent

Been using for few weeks, mainly for steaming and media consumption. Snappy performance no complains for $300 tablet. Was looking at the redmi/poco as well but got this coz of better cpu and slightly larger screen. Take note can be a bit hefty & heavy in the hands while using. No issues with Netflix just get original CNrom.

Nowadays many MVNO giving out obscene data plans, quite good for big screen tablet for streaming video on the move...

Any 5G tablet to intro?
Samsung galaxy Tab A9+ 5G with legacy 3.5mm headset plug was quite low priced.
But 4G memory was its downside.

you need only 5Mbps for 1080p video streaming. Dont have to go for 5G.

better to spend money on memory, current android os needs at least 6GB , best if can get 8GB or more.

depends on your usage requirements

aliexpress iplay 60 lite, $150 can get
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007355380219.html

manage expectations, basic but should be ok for streaming video on the move

treat as no warranty as no local service centre

any recommendations for mobile sim models around 300+?
many models available

do u have a screen size in mind?

need 1st party keyboard support?

are you going to use it for gaming? or just basic usage?

do u need local warranty, or are u ok with brands which do not have local service centre?

Am using alldocube iplay 50 mini pro, below $200 from aliexpress
Quite a few listings, choose the official store, should be the one with relatively high sales volume, to be on the safe side

Note: no auto-brightness, but you can turn on accessibility option for quick shortcut to adjust brightness

Samsung tab a9, check amazon.sg and amazon.com to see which side cheaper. Note: this model has 2 versions, wi-fi version and 4g version.

Local warranty, can consider redmi pad se 8.7. Note, this model have 2 versions, wi-fi version and 4g version. Same precautions, buy from official store, lazada or shopee or mi.com

Hi bro,
Want to check did u get the keyboard ?
Kinda of exp for the keyboard

nope I didn't get the keyboard, how much is it?

I'm mainly only using at home, thus connecting via my own mechanical keyboard & mouse via via BT thru a KYM switch gadget device, switching easily for my pc, projector TV, phone & tablet etc
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...adapter-convertor-for-keyboard-mouse.6904304/

if gonna use for travel / outdoors then make more sense to get the keyboard. btw their PC mode actually looks very polished
