They were also personally attacking us by saying things like if we cannot afford to eat there then to not come and pretend like we can afford it, and insinuated that we were social escorts and should get our clients to come and help us pay.

My sister was getting quite angry and told them "Do you know why you guys work for tips? Because no one wants to stick the whole thing in".

I was actually quite impressed by that.
