Thanks .

Seems the same leh.
Just I account is packaged as shariah compliant .

CIMB FastSaver-i is a Shariah-compliant online savings account and account holders will enjoy the same benefits as offered by the regular CIMB FastSaver account in the form of no fall below fee. You will also receive returns in the form of profits on your CIMB FastSaver-i account

One is halal, one is non halal (the interest is riba).

The halal one is quite impressive because it can generate the same return while complying with Islamic laws.

I am interested in this too since ocbc360 and UOBone maxed out. But is it safe to apply online? Scanning NRIC?

Can I maintain zero balance?

I have savings in the CIMB Fastsaver account, but now I need to use the funds. I know that no interest is paid if the daily balance is below S$1000.

Can I take the balance to zero, and still continue to hold the account? Or does having a zero balance start a clock ticking somewhere that means the account will automatically or deliberately be closed by the bank? I would like to continue to hold on to the account for future funds in a few months.

I just opened cimb fastsaver. Want to check, is any fees incurred if I were to transfer funds out of my CIMB account via FAST?

thanks for the reply.

i already activated my account via the sms notificaiton. do you know if the bank will automatically mail a security device/token to me? or do i have to apply for it

Once the fastsaver account is activated, they will send you the security token automatically as well. just need to wait for about few days.

Have a question: anyone has MORE THAN ONE Fastsaver account under ONE NAME? Is that possible?

i wanted to take up this account but the poor reviews on it's app puts me off. anybody experienced bad issues with it?

my next choice is the ocbc Bonus+ Savings Account. any feedback?

The app is atrocious. But it does work for FAST transfers and such. If you have zeroed in on the CIMB FastSaver, the app shouldn't be the dealbreaker. The website is also antiquated but is better than the app.

I used this account for parking some funds, not for daily transactions. Have put one payee. Use FAST to transfer funds.

Really fuss free for 1%. Nothing to hit. Now got lucky draw somemore.

I find the website adequate for my purpose. Not sure about the app.

Can also consider Singapore Savings bonds, Maxigain or DBS multiplier... all earns higher interest.
SSB needs cdp but otherwise is fuss free at higher interest.
Maxigain just need to beware to keep your account funded and not withdraw till at least 6 month later.
DBS multiplier has some basic stuff like $2000 salary crediting to hit higher interest combine with spending more $1 on your cc. You get 1.55% already.

Not so easy leh the website. Cant even transfer $1 out. Still waiting for security device. And need to wait rather long for the customer service to pick up call.

Btw I tried scb to transfer to cimb, took more than 1 day. Whereas UOB is instant.
