Not so easy leh the website. Cant even transfer $1 out. Still waiting for security device. And need to wait rather long for the customer service to pick up call.

Btw I tried scb to transfer to cimb, took more than 1 day. Whereas UOB is instant.
My FAST transfers from scb to cimb and back are instant.

Once the token is here then u can transfer money out.

Did u use FAST? Fast is instant. I think u click another one which is the traditional way. That takes 2 to 3 days.

Highest interest rate savings account in Singapore (with no T&Cs).

No fall below fee.

No gimmicks and straight forward unlike other banks. :s13:

i wanted to take up this account but the poor reviews on it's app puts me off. anybody experienced bad issues with it?

my next choice is the ocbc Bonus+ Savings Account. any feedback?

definitely not the best app or web portal out there. but basic function like transferring $ via FAST works. So I won't complain about it.

Yup, the best part is no T&Cs for the 1%.

While other banks have above 1%, reading and meeting all the conditions will make you confuse.

It says 0.6% profit rate above $50k..if say I have $60k inside..does it mean I get $50k*1% plus $10k*0.6%?

current acct and saving acct got diff? For me..can deposit money good enough. :)

But this acct minimum deposit $5k..

This combined checking and savings account not only allows you to enjoy one of the highest interest rates in town at 0.8% p.a. You will also receive unlimited free cheque books and free withdrawals ASEAN-wide.

Why don't consider SSB or Maxigain?
Higher interest with little other than paperwork involved.
Once set up, it's put and forget.

I don't really get how it works for Maxigain. Can point to a dummy's guide for it?

All details in https://www.citibank.com.sg/gcb/deposits/mxgn-savacc.htm

# Rate is 0.8% * sibor (up to $150k) + increasing counter (applicable to unlimited amount)
# Assuming sibor is 1%

If you open Maxigain account (and fund S$15k from first day of the month),
In first month you should enjoy 0.8%*sibor + 0 (counter 0) = 0.8%
In second month you should enjoy 0.8%*sibor + 0.1% (counter 1) = 0.9%
In third month, 1%
In fourth month, 1.1%
.
.
.
In 13th month, 2% up to S$150k. Amount above S$150k will enjoy 1.2%

That's why @Perisher said it is place and forget account.

Of course feel free to correct me if I am wrong and the last I checked, I don't work for Citibank :)

Thanks. I think I have gotten some conflicting information on it: from what you describe, it seems like all you need is to dump in and simply not touch the money (I'd use it for cash that I am not touching). On the other hand, I recall reading some description of requiring money to be transferred in to be eligible for additional interest (so some schedule $1 transfers on a monthly basis). Has that changed or did I get it wrong?
