If less than $15,000, then Cimb, as maxigain have a daily average of $15,000 to avoid the charges..

If more than $15,000.. place $15,000 in maxigain while the rest in cimb.. once maxigain gains 2 counters, the approximate interest earned would more slightly more than 1% (0.2 + 0.8*1 % sibor), current sibor rate is slightly above 1% iirc..

However do note that the lower balance of money in maxigain compared to previous month will cause a drop of counters (interests %), whereas cimb enjoys 1% fuss free till $50,000

1Mth SIBOR is 1.33% now. So even at the 0 counter, MaxiGain is better.

Can I confirm that the I banking dongle will be automatically mailed to us? Don't need to click or apply any steps?

Hi. I am about to fill-up the CIMB Fast Saver application online and I came across this.

"Are You Referred by a Friend or Do You Have a Promo Code?* "

Would you like to share your promo code? Thanks

yea, dislike the non notification from these banks when their 'target' is met, just want people to continue putting $ into their banks, the fastsaver-i promo started in oct 2017 and ends in mar 2018 for 1st 550/650, only fools will think still available now and it is still listed on the webpage as 'promo'.

Nothing, it will not be closed down or be charged any fee (until they decide to make changes to the current rules). If you have <1000 SGD inside, you get no interest but no fee either.
