Seriosuly, if anyone wants to complain to MAS, wll you advice differently now? :ROFLMAO:

Imo, CIMB Tncs has explained eligible and qualify criteria quite clearly.

CIMB said I not eligible suddenly, but within 24h of applying the same Tncs, I received my $150.

So Para 4 no power, I did what Tncs said I should be doing and I won.

My post is about Para 4 is nothing powerful, not encouraging complaints.
You smart bloke can get, not sure about others lor ...
All I was saying, fair dealing is the wrong regulation for matters like this, which usually deals more with mis-selling, and the product not being suitable for the customer.

For such promotions, likely have to dispute based on ABS code of banking practice.

so has anyone done SI/salary crediting before 18 Sep (and continue to do so during the promo) and gotten $150?

I think I did the SI before 18 September, cannot remember the start date already. And didn't receive 150 or am i supposed to???

Few of my colleagues including me 5 of us , I help them setup recurring SI for 3 months starting Dec to Feb to enjoy the extra 0.5% and to avoid any mistake , I copy and paste the “SI - CIMB“ from the tnc, all 5 of us get the $150 on 12 Feb.

And it was a tiresome process for 2 of them as opening new account need to exchange emails , book video call , make video call…….a .long waiting process

the 2 new accounts also got the $150? It is stated in Clause 2 of the T&Cs "promotion is open to existing customers" :)

Yes , double confirmed by the CSO during the account Opening video call , they are told that account not yet activated b4 31 Dec also will get as long as $5K was transfer in and SI was done , but they are lucky enough that account was activated b4 31 Dec

What does the description says on your cimb app? Did the same but still haven't receive, and did via dbs.

Anyone has spreadsheet or formula to calculate the Interest and Bonus Interest in fastsaver account for the promo Jan-March 2025? Given how CIMB handle the PayDay promo, there are doubts if they actually honor the promised Interest for their promos

Forget this sucker, there is no more Bonus Interest.
There is no more Jan-March 2025 spreadsheet showing the promo.
What is now valid is this crap for working out what the bank will pay you for Feb 25:

dont spread false info based on assumptions
have just spoken to cso and verified that the 3.2% casa promo is valid for those locked in Dec-Feb and Jan-Mar cycle
my transactions (opened a fastsaver account on 3 jan 2025), with deposits as follow:
3 jan 2025 $1K
7 jan 2025 $99K
13 jan 2025 $1K
14 jan 2025 $1K
21 jan 2025 $11k
22 jan 2025 (-)$0.1k (i made a withdrawal to see if it works, because up to this point, i couldn't until the verification video call was finally made with the bank to activate the account.)
28 jan 2025 $36k
30 jan 2025 $1.9K

Total of above is $150.8K (and my CIMB visa signature credit card spent was around $650)

Guess what?

the interest on 31 jan 2025 for the above was $134.89.
(am told by a CSO the interest starts from the date of deposit, if so why this interest amount? so can I believe the cso????)

Pt 10 clearly stated :
Bonus Interest/Profit (if any) will be accrued daily and credited into the Qualifying Account(s) on 30 April 2025.

Don't make a hoo ha out of nothing.
