Noticed when trying to create login at CIMB, there's a compulsory field to indicate mother's maiden name? We need to enter our mother's full name?

Yes I just received the sms today after on phone with them to chase. But for first time login have to fill in this field which I'm unsure of.

Haha I didn't, only ask them to help me expedite since my acct is only pending activation. They said ok but cannot promise, however it was activated on the day itself. Maybe I was lucky.

Am I understanding that you don't get a free ATM card upon sign up, and you have to pay $10 if you want one? My account got set up a week ago and I haven't received any ATM card, so I'm guessing that's the case?

I don't know which ATM can use, I don't have ATM card, and they are not on atm5 network

I think they do have ATMs outside their branches? Maybe I remember wrongly. But doesn’t matter anyway, not like I’ll be using their ATMs (if they have them)

someone in the forum mention tt there is only ATM machine at the Main Branch. U can do fast transfer out to your other bank account.

they only have one branch, cimb plaza

can do tx aka bank transfer using internet

Yes, Fastsaver ATM card not free, have to request and pay $10.

If you want a free ATM card (for deposit at their Raffles Place branch), open their StarSaver account.

Or just deposit through your usual bank account and FAST in.

First time I called, waited very long. Gave up, called the 2nd no. listed on their website and got thru. 2nd time called the same number and got thru as well.

earlier called in the cso said my acc pending info that why they nv proceed.. gave them the info now then they say ok will forward to relevant department.. lame ah.. esp the info not asked on the form
