Anyone know if the 0.08% given monthly is calculated at end of month balance or daily basis interest rate?

So if i withdraw today and return back the amount tomorrow will it be different?

I transferred the deposit into fast saver account on Sunday... can anyone share how long does it take to receive any email notification from bank or FD advice ETC?

I just opened CIMB start saver account online. So quick! I already have credit cards with them so no new documents needed. Just click click click.

I am planning to move some money from India to Singapore, I believe cimb doesn't charge inward remittance so this is why I applied for this account.

Why open star saver instead of fastsaver ?

I think vsvs24 meant to recommend fastsaver due to slightly higher interest (0.8 vs 1.0 for fast, cap at 50k)

But no difference if your primary function is to receive overseas funds and then redirect to other local accounts.

Yes. Starsaver also gives interest only if above $5000.

CSO told me ATM can link to fastsaver but need to pay a fee. Not sure true or not.

Just to check if you open both Fastsaver and fastsaver-i for a total saving of 100k, SDIC only insure up to 50k right?
