Don't get it. So the $150 is part of the interest credit on 31 Jan?

For the SI promotion which ended 31 Dec 2024 , there are 2 components , 1 is extra 0.5% for 1st $25K which is credited on 31 Jan 2025 , the other is the $150 all of us are waiting for

Did not get. Once 3.2% promo over, likely will move out. This whole fiasco leaving a bad taste.

I also didn’t receive. I just called CIMB and was told I had compiled with all their tnc but he is not sure why I am not inside the qualified list and have to check. V disappointed with them. I called them last week they said will credit on this Mon but now said I am not in qualified list.

same case as me. last week they told me i qualify but today i called they say i am not in the qualified list. VVVV disappointed with this CIMB

Called Monday—said would credit in a few days. Called again yesterday—now told not on the qualified list. But I got the 0.5% bonus on 31 Jan, so CS said she’d check and update me. Till now no callback yet.

The promo was from 18 Sep to 31 Dec 2024 - so what is the eligibility? Must GIRO/SI all 4 months Sep to Dec? Or just need any of the months?

those who get the $150, happy and glad that it was so easy to get with one little step.

those who dont get - many said rubbish and threaten to withdraw all funds from cimb.

I did the SI for my family members, and they all got. I did for myself and didnt get. Clarified with CIMB, there was a payroll done in Sep 2024, so it disqualified me. I accepted it, TnC we cannot change. Just wait for next promo.

So far, this is the most generous of all banks to do payroll and only needed to do one month , very minimal condition.

For most who did not get, there must be one step or termcondition which disqualify you, so just clarify and get over it.

CIMB has been most generous with many promo in the past. at least it does not do the UOB/OCBC/DBS first xxx qualifiers condition which is always vague.

You may want to recheck on being disqualified because of payroll done in sep 2024. T&C has nothing about this.

I tink he got disqualified because his payroll was only in sep and not Oct, nov, Dec. Must be recurring.

No ah!! I only did 1 x SI in Dec and got the $150 without even having to call in. Maybe his payroll was via FAST or earlier than 18 September?

Ah then this makes sense.
I asked him to recheck because there was a CSO that tried to smoke me saying that I have a salary giro in Jun last year this I'm disqualified. I had never giro-ed my salary to cimb but to give benefit of doubt, because I may have participate in some other promo that time, I went to check my statement. Turns out there wasn't such transaction and even if there is, t&c didn't state that cannot participate if I participate in any previous promo.

Called in again and another kind CSO ensured that I'm correct.

1x SI done on 30 Dec, into StarSaver (there was Concurrent promo for StarSaver as well )
