The redditor post is probably true, just unintended "bug" in their coding when adding/removing extra add-ons.
i found a pretty similar bug too, but i'm not sharing cos it's benefitting for me. lol.

20gb is the base plan for the $5.30 plan. It is the promo code which gives the 1TB data. Likely when he opt in for the unlimited data add on, the original promo code changed to another one. Then when this new promo code is cancelled, the plan drop back to the base plan 20gb.

Likely toggled the UL data, then removed which caused the data allowance to revert to the base 20GB.
Most times it's user problem, though CL's app design isn't that great to begin with, along with all the "traps" like "SecureMe" etc.

I don't know but if the app does not provide so many hidden catch, will one even gets into such situation? So I don't think it is user problem but the telco intended created problems for user.

Yes, in this case it's more of telco problem than it being a user problem.
But in most times, usually it's user problem.

Yes, in this case it's more of telco problem than it being a user problem.
But in most times, usually it's user problem.

Sadly, I have to agree this time, it is the problem between the keyboard and the chair.. to be fair, I never had such issue with CL, just don't be greedy with whatever CL dangles over your head, you will be safe...

i remember for Circles, you have to toggle roaming (data/voice) on in the app. I tried roaming previously, it can't connect to any network.

Yes doesn't make any sense to toggle on. Unless you toggle voice roaming, and make sure data roaming is off.
