IMHO.
Good reference for me. Thanks!
I understand Circle.Life is M1. So i think I should be able to get similar to M1.

Yes, very much the same for my test results with M1 Maxx 5G and CL 5G.

Earlier test results of SingTel SIM Only 5G vs CL 5G

SingTel SIM Only 5G versus Circles.Life 5G speed, both are very fast at home.

Using Poco X7 Pro phone.

iIRC, it was CL which shook the traffic lights up who were charging exorbitant prices.

I stayed with them for many years from the time they gave free trial to when they changed $5 a month.

3rd quarter of last year, Singtel fought back with a Heya Plan. Free for 6 months, $5 per month after that. 200GB local data, 200GB roaming data. Plus talk time and SMS which I am very unlikely to use.

Meanwhile CL was still giving 20GB.

I ported my number to Heya.

Best ever with CL 5G was 980mbps. Can’t remember where it was. Most places 500-700mbps doable that i tested.

I am in the midst of looking at my plans and moving to 5G.
I have already eliminated 3x Heya. :ROFLMAO:
I just change Eight to 5G, performance not fantastic !
I have M1 Maxx and Zym 4G (5G) for my 5G routers, so likely to consolidate to CL.

I see.

Even though M1 Maxx 5G and Zym 4G (with free 5G trial) are suitable for your use case as Fibre Broadband replacement, that does not mean they will be 100% okay for your mobile phone use case.

Routers are usually at fix locations at home. For mobile phone, you need to check the places you frequent.

Technically M1 and StarHub share the same 5G infrastructure (at least the Radio Access Network), so if eight 5G is not that good for you, then CL 5G may not be so good for you either.

My ranking for the plans I have tested, for local usage.

1. SingTel SIM Only 5G, my main line
2. M1 Maxx 5G and CL 5G
3. StarHub Prepaid S plan 5G
4. SingTel hi! 4G
5. eight 4G and CUniq 4G
6. SIMBA

In the end I will keep the following lines.

1. SingTel SIM Only 5G at S$15.28 per month (recontract offer, 12 months contract), my main line. This line is good for local usage.

My wife is also using this plan as her main line.

2. StarHub Prepaid S plan 5G at S$3 per month (Happy Prepaid Card migration offer), mainly for number parking (my old number).

My wife has this S$3 plan as well (her old number).

3. eight 4G at S$8 per month, effective price at S$4 per month for the next 22 months due to the S$88 one to one top-up offer, for roaming and backup.
Can share more on this $3 plan

Why consolidate all to CL? Should use different telco for redundancy ma.

Long story short, in the end, I use CL to replace M1.
I have SIngtel, Starhub (Eight) and Simba 5G.
Simba 5G still cannot make it at my location....

CL 5G should be an okay replacement for M1 Maxx 5G. M1 Maxx has much less pattern than CL though.

Within Singtel network you have legacy Singtel 4G plan, Singtel hi! 4G (migration from heya) and Zym 4G (with free 180 days 5G trial), right?

Or you have more. :ROFLMAO:

M1 Maxx 5G and Zym 5G trial -- 5G routers (Fibre Broadband replacement) ?
Singtel legacy 4G plan and Singtel hi! 4G (migration from heya) -- for mobile phone usage ?

That is an interesting arrangement.

My Zym plan is the 4G plan which still give me 5G. :devilish:
Right now I am on legacy Singtel 4G with Eight 5G for normal use.
EIght 5G coverage is not fantastic, my usual locations sees a lot of switching to 4G.

I oso using CL 5G as fibre BB replacement. But due to new house location, the signal often drop to 4G. Am thinking shld b switch bk to fibre BB a not
