Seemed like "FOREVER" is just a slogan for Circle Life.
After CL's effort to Plan Upgrade for Flexi Plan ($0/mo) & the $5 Plan. Who will still believe the 'FOREVER' promise by them ?

BTW, they now have a Plan Upgrade for $10 Plan !!!

Well yes for any non contract plan the only thing that you can assume to be forever is at most the plan entitlements. Pricing don't expect it to be forever, since no contract means neither the customer nor the provider is bound by any terms and conditions. Even when base prices didn't change, we have witnessed price increase twice across 2023 and 2024 when GST rose to 8% and 9% respectively.

PSA for those who took the $5 plan and received an email promo for 2 months of 5g - Don't take it

The 5g upgrade is not actually "free". Its charged to your bill and then waived the next month. However, at least in my case, they conveniently forgot to add the waiver. So only after 2 months and multiple emails the finally added the waivers all at once. The stupid thing is, the waivers are only deducted from the next months bill and they cannot carry over. So I now have $21 rebate but the bill will only be $5.

I have yet to pay any bills because it was incorrect so technically my current outstanding bill is $36(3 months unpaid), but they say my line will be suspended if I stretch it until next month so the waiver can be applied. Anyone know if this is true?

You mean you opted in to convert away your $0 plan? wow.
They called me too but i just gave her a straight NO. :vijayadmin:
The circles flexi was my main number, i have 2 flexi sims. So I used to make do with 2gb of monthly data and no roaming. When I travel on vacation I would have no ability to recieve incoming OTP.

For the last 5 years this was not too much of inconvenience, but recently I felt towards the last days of the month the 2gb would finish and then I would resort to the free 500mb M1 mobile broadband sim.

I thought for my networth this level of stinginess is not worth it. So I decided to treat myself with the 20gb data and hasslefree sms roaming, when I recieved the marketing call.

I'm still on the $0 plan. No calls. No emails.

Roaming doesn't work. Sux for them. I'm based overseas and they can't reach me.

Just gonna stay on the $0 and use it whenever I'm back in Singapore, Good for me as I don't have to spend a single cent to maintain a Singapore sim card/line,

Pennywise pound foolish? You want to keep a Singapore line alive but when you are overseas you have no ability to receive SMS OTP.

I don't need to receive OTPs on this line.

Just need the data whenever I'm back in Singapore. And to keep my WhatsApp number.
