There is a Citi Payall promo where payments have to be made not later than August 24, 2023.

How do you make installment tax payments for this if they were not scheduled last April? Just make single payments one at a time, set up in advance each month?

Do you do the same for rent?

The scheduling interface is not flexible.

btw citi payall is not the 0% interest instalment payment plan. Can schedule citi payall anytime, one-time or recurring. Dun understand what last April has to do with Citi Payall

Citi Payall for tax only lets you put 6-, 12- or 18-month payments. Cannot specify 3 payments to IRAS during promo period, cannot specify more than one single payment at a time.

Maybe I don't know how to use the interface.

Could I request your advice on how to do this:

1) Assume a person is paying total income tax of S$36,000, in 12 installments of S$3,000 each.

2) May 2023 payment of S$3,000 was made to IRAS via GIRO.

3) How can this person use Citi Payall to make these payments via credit card:

a) June 30, S$3,000

b) July 28, S$3,000

c) August 20, S$3,000 (before end of promo period)

You can do oneshot 33K to IRAS. IRAS will not complain

When I try to change the payment date in the mobile app for Citi Payall, there is no button to submit this date from the calendar view after you choose the date.

Stupid question but literally button do you press to choose and submit a payment date? This interface is not good.

Can't even submit unless you accept the earliest possible payment date, so nothing to cancel.

I hv test $0.10 using normal bank (not Paynow) to transfer to the same digits bank account above, is a success. But if I used Citi Payall, it just gave me that error.

citi payall only support 6/12/18/24 mths for monthly installment.
for your case if you only want to pay 3 mths, only way is to choose single payment and do it every month.

Is it worth to use Citi PayAll?
I using Citi Cash Back+ Card but I have question after do some research.
Understand there are 2% fee charges per transaction, and the reward for above card is 1.6% cashback.
As below, is like I paying $20 extra than getting benefit using their service.

Payment - $5000
Fee 2% - $100
Reward 1.6% - $80

Payall is good for miles, not for cashback. Citi points are the most valuable type for miles out there due to the many transfer partners beyond Krisflyer.

never for cashback.

if your spend is not enough to accumulate miles, just do simple cashback strategies and focus on saving and investing money. do not do Citi Payall or CardUp yet.
