On a flat COE quota growth, given SG population to COE # around 10:1, should be able to model long term COE price against the mean income of the top decile of taxpayers given only 1 in 10 can afford.

During 2009 coe dropped to record low. Hence a lot of new cars were bought. This yr coe will shoot up. Price will hit rock bottom maybe in 2012 where coe was at record high and very few cars were boughy.

Isn't it the inverse? A lot of cars bought cheaply in 2009 will be scrapped this year, thus contributing more to the COE pool.

Low coe pqp also fuel many renewal. So likely not as much. Way up is more likely

Seems like slowly trending up. Remember 2011 Coe quota is super low. Kiasu people will buy before that

Seller who put such figure don't quite know what is going on?

Any 'rich' buyer who think of paying for that; will forever remain as 'small boss' with small brain for not doing their homework; which I doubt there will be any...

Why said so??
https://www.tnp.sg/news/singapore/vintage-vehicle-plate-number-auctioned-335000

There are only 20 left in S'pore and just five are up for sale, says car dealer.

Car dealer Ivan Lim said: "The market value for a single-S car registration number is priced around $300,000. So I am not surprised by the amount the plate number was sold for."

Is this SML car registration number be worth more than a Single-S car registration number?

thinkkkkkkkkkk.....................
