I cpl, so my pay is 490(rank)+300(combat)+20(any rank hold after 12mths)

If you chao recruit private -50

Btw this is last yr one hor, b4 i ord.

You only get the full combat allce after u turn ops.

Different rank different rank allce, but combat allce will be the same for everyone.

And for jump allce, there are certain no. of jumps to be met. Not that easy to get usually.

Unless you sign on haha.

what you mean by the $20 (any rank hold after 12 months)? meaning after 1 year in NS you get extra $20 no matter you what rank?

total jump how many times, and each jump pay how much?

btw izit true that 2nd year of NS is very relax for cdo? i heard that night time they also allow all to go out of camp, just that must go back by midnite. correct?

standard is fri nite bookout and sunday nite book in izit? on rare occasions sat might be called back?

I meant as a CDO cpl, you do more training and stuff than a 3SG in an infantry unit.. so in the end u are 1 rank lower, but do the same amount of work/responsibility than a spec in another unit.

Jump is 5 to get your wings, though not often people get to jump 5.. along the way got mission that has air insertion, then got more jumps.. else is heliborne or sea insertion.. sit zodiac, chinook or even uh1h overseas till you sian~

2nd year NS is relax if you miss the atec phase.. then just prep for NDP march and every week just take ippt.. else mission all the way till you ORD.. if unlucky, during my time, pass out liao prep atec.. atec finish go for course, then overseas exchange.. mission all the way till ORD.. hardly got lobo time.. but then CO that time was very on.. so depends on what's planned from up there..

BUt good thing about having lotsa outfield and mission is that when you perform well, you get plenty of Long Off in Lieu.. but you also get lotsa standby dutys waiting for COA/TCH to visit and say thank you for protecting the nation~

cdo intake in july/ptp in june, i got gold for napfa, so if everythings successful, when will we recieve the enlistment notice? same timing for both ptp/and enhanced?

Siam ATEC? can, dun go for VA.. if you are in and want to siam, might as well wear a pink beret and wait long long..
COA is chief of army, tch is our DPM..

Haven't go in yet ask about OIL? It's up to your battalion HQ.. all it need is 1 blur bugger to flick a switch or a siao on soldier to indent ration to stay in to have TBTL time.. team building team learning..
my first CO believe in welfare, the second always preaching about warfare.. so it's luck..

Actually officer got lotsa sai gang to do also.. not worth the minor increase from a spec or men.. be a men best liao.. you are more thoroughly trained in all the vocational skill specialties whereas officers mostly sit and talk with CO in battle procedure.. that's cos you spend close to 1 year in OCS outside cdo while the spec and men train with the regulars on commando tactics.. when they come back, they still need to adjust back to our SOP and usually get a slight culture shock when they go for their first mission together! so officer usually plan the threat management, spec and men plan the action taken..

im not too sure about commando...but i know some officer vocations can stay out....that is the best....

Only experience additional mission in OCS which is different from CDO anyway.. not much diff.. CDO officiers can stay out will depend on CO heypi anot.. ours gave stay out, but will you want to stay out? So much mission to plan and doctrines to prep, sleep also not enough already.. meeting with CO, plan, mission sleep, cycle same throughout the year.. you work while the men all go nights off.. saturday stay back give remedial training to some junior coy while spec and men book out~ so you think CDO officier good anot?

If want stay out also will extend the benefits to the coy men.. espirit de corp leh~

since commando is a combat vocation, then got combat allowance
and maybe slightly more than other combat vocation because you need to be airborne
