How is heya? Looks good. They have free caller id? Even their roaming is amazing
Make your own judgment. Users have reported severe deprioritisation.

Being on the Singtel network just means it has better coverage. From the user reports, the operators are finally implementing priority levels (QCI levels) for the use of data - and operators are giving lower priority to low-cost-high-data plans so that data hoggers do not cause the entire network to lag for other users who are paying more. But it invariably means that these users will be having more severely managed speeds for their data allotment.

After my experience with MVNO unlimited plan, I rather go for plans with limited data + faster speeds.
No point having "unlimited data" when the speed is "managed".

I suspect anything more than 20-35GB will be subject to deprioritisation.

To get an idea of the number, I look at a) their SIM-only plan base entitlement (not the additional data that they use to pad the numbers for promotions - eg for StarHub it's 35GB, for Singtel it looks like 20GB) and b) the data bundled with their more expensive with-device plans. In fact, I won't be surprised if their SIM-only plans eventually get a lower priority compared to their main plans, since those are more profitable for them.

Singtel's good in a way, since they provide their theoretical max speeds in their documentation. We can see their speeds depending on the connection type, and the range is pretty wide.

When I was on Giga 50gb plan, average usage is about 15-20gb, never had speeds throttled.
Using Zero1 50gb unlimited plan, youtube would auto set quality to 720p or lower.
It would also be very slow to buffer with every skip forward. All these even before I even hit 20gb.

Can I roam with data in Malaysia?
You will have to purchase a redCONNECT MY data add-on VAS in order to roam in Malaysia. We have two options available; 1GB & 5GB.

Heya no roaming at all.

Redone, expensive roaming charges other than Malaysia.
As for wow plan, data are for local use, but you still can add on roaming data for Malaysia.

My personal preference for roaming is M1 data passport which allows myself and mobile hotspot user to share my local data pack. With M1 Citibank card to offset the $2 fee I need to pay $10 subscription and stop worry about data usage while roaming overseas.

TBH, if you are willing to use a mobile hotspot, there is no reason to use data passport. For most countries, you can easily get a local prepaid SIM card at a fraction of the cost of the data passport subscription fee.

When I was on GOMO 90% of the time my experience (typical download speed) was within the 4G column (1st column).

My best download speed is about 180 Mbps and best upload speed is speed is about 70 Mbps, which only falls within the 450 Mbps 4G column (4th column).
Most of the time typical speed is 1/3 to 1/2 of best speed.

Anyone on Singtel or Singtel MVNO actually experienced typical download speeds (meaning 80% or more of the time) anything other than the 1st column? If yes do share your telco and the plan on that telco.
