why not get a normal 4 legged table~? the legs of the computer table make sweeping floor harder~

I have the older galant model with T-legs. Not hard to sweep at all, there's a 2-3 cm gap, depending on how much you raise the feet. I use the magiclean dust wiper and it easily slides under.

I don't like ikea tables due to the compressed wood. I used to have one, the freaking table bend and warp after a few months with only a monitor, 2 speakers and me resting both of hands on it.

The galant has a couple of metal bars running horizontally below the wood surface to strengthen the desk. I have yet to see mine warped. There's a monitor ps4 printer and satellite speakers mech keyboard and my elbows. Did some housekeeping to reduce the number of wires laying on the floor and so far pretty happy with the galant since i can stick some cable tie mounts and route the wires below the surface.

Only thing i wish is adjustable height. I bought mine 8 years ago with the castor wheels config.

Was it this type?

Sometimes it's not the material, but design flaw. Without a proper frame/support, solid wood can also warp and bend over time. This type is both material and design flaw. Lol. Only the frame/structure is fibreboard. It's mostly air and cardboard/paper inside. :s13:

In their own words:

Table top:
Top: Fibreboard, Acrylic paint, .
Frame: Particleboard, ABS plastic
Filling material: Paper
Bottom: Fibreboard

Older version was called VIKA if I remember correctly. Avoid unless for very light or short term usage, e.g., rental apartment, etc.

Not all their items are made equal, some are really use & throw away type, some are decent value. I'd say their office range tops are better designed for heavy loads. Made of MDF, which is a fairly standard material used by most offices for desks tops. Of course, there's the metal frame too, which muddle pointed out.

Mine is only a few years, but looking at it I am sure it can last me easily 10 years. Height is tough to adjust, mine is the A-leg version, lucky I spent quite sometime planning the table configuration with my chair.

yes, I think any table with 4 legs will do, not necessary for T-Legs table~
