Lololol I'm saying Singapore is authoritarian boring state that no one wants to do anything exciting.

What have Singapore accomplished to the world? All Singaporean think about is money and control. I find that sad.
Not taking sides, but certain perspectives see, think local tend is more rigid in certain sense bah.

Think the many excessive (perhaps at times) rules and regulations tend stem from local long standing mentality that it all along tend don't trust the people to know what's right for the people themselves.

Thus think when local don't trust the people to know what is what, there tend will be more rules set down to make sure people toe the line when local not able to look in.

Therefore think the perception that local have much more rules and regulations in alot places. At times counter intuitive or not so commonsense perhaps. So much so that its not uncommon for many to tend ignore certain rules when no one looking.

Think if not living in a hole somewhere ignorance about the world outside, its not uncommon to see pedestrian, driver, rider and cyclist so called ignore certain rules before in some perceived lesser situation.

But then think its also human nature. Not condoning the action, but think no one is a saint. Just looking at it for what it is. When it is.

Unless machine with no mind of own, if not, think no human would follow rules to the dot all the time one. If see an opportunity to take short cut or easy way out, especially when its within some perceived tolerable risk, many would take it.

Thus, a reason why can see people ignoring certain rules. Especially in lesser situation where they see that its no biggie. But generally most still follow the rules in order for society to function well. So, that people know what to expect when they do certain things.

Just that cannot expect everyone to do so in all situations. Everyone is their own judge despite what is set down for them. Thus cannot and should not take it for granted with the rules. Need to be aware of otherwise.

As for cyclist or other lesser vehicle, think if not wrong, when go on the road, then have to follow the rules on the road in order for the road system to work well. If get out of the road, then follow the pedestrian rules more.

But got see some self entitled pedestrian also. Especially those 倚老卖老. Talk like as if they own the pavement. When they walk, no others can use. People use they jjww. So satki why not they just buy over the pavement and make it their own private land. As if they can. Its a public place, everyone have the right to use.

How many more sinkies must die before garmen start to enforce road regulations.
