Another sad lonely being who has no reason to live but cannot die yet so works hard to spread misery, catch attention and start fights so that can feel alive

I think I encountered this same amdk cyclist before. He was cycling in the middle of the 1st lane (bus lane) and hogging the bus during morning peak hour, along bukit timah Rd.

I horn at him (from the 2nd lane) to give way to the bus behind him as there was a bus load of passengers rushing for work. Lo and behold, he actually sped up and trailed me to the next traffic light and then challenged me to a fight. I told me to follow me to Rochor Rd police station to settle as I hv cam car video to proof he was wrong to hog bus lane and also road rage. He just rode off, what a loser. Either he has mental issue or simply very jelly Sporeans can afford cars and he can't.

If a driver cannot overtake or don't know how to switch lane, should fire him. Good job to this cyclist for helping to filter who is the lousy driver. Without this cyclist, who knows this driver could have endangered his future passengers. Must investigate why he don't know how to switch lane and overtake, fake license?
Bus driver purposely one . They probably ahead of time then take own sweet time. Or stop at bustop with no passenger.

Got difference? Bus also selfish wasting people time stopping at bustop when there is no passenger? The cyclist doing the bus driver a favour.
Think seems both also got attitude bah. Cyclist could have kept further in, and bus driver could have filtered slightly out to overtake. But both rather act blur and then jjww. :s22:

Got saw before some really attitude bus driver. Most drivers when turning right will keep more to the right. Even for bus, they seldom need to cross the center line at big junction. Because there are ample space for them to turn by keeping to their lane.

But some bus drivers like got mental issue. Purposely will turn very wide, even cross the center line eat into other people path. Then horn people beside to siam. Buay-siew don't drive bus. Safer for everyone.

cyclist no helmet

Most of the cyclists were young men clad in t-shirts, shorts, and slippers.

Teenage cyclists without helmets speed on highway in Singapore

On Wednesday (11 Dec), a Redditor shared a TikTok video on the r/SingaporeRaw subreddit, showing a large group of teenage cyclists without helmets cycling on a public road in Singapore.

From the video, there appears to be a total of 11 cyclists in the group.

Cyclists speed on highway without helmets

The video began with a group of young men waiting at a traffic light. They appeared to be all smiles and in good spirits.

Most of the cyclists were clad in t-shirts, shorts and slippers. None of them were wearing helmets even though they were cycling on the highway.

Based on the video and hashtags, it seemed that they were riding “fixies’ or fixed-gear bikes.

According to the HDB flats seen in the background, it appeared that they were cycling along Punggol North Ave.

In the video, the cyclists could be seen cycling on the public road at a relatively high speed, with one cyclist waving towards another who was filming the outing.

Cyclists tailgate lorry

One of the cyclists riding a bicycle with a pink frame could even be seen riding dangerously close behind a lorry on the first lane.

Another two cyclists on red and black bikes were also seen cycling at high speed on the first and second lanes, before filtering left to the third lane.

Towards the end of the video, it could be observed that the cyclists were not riding in a fixed single or double file.

Netizens condemn behaviour

Most of the Redditors condemned the behaviour of the group, citing safety as the primary concern.

One commented that it was “dumb” not to wear helmets as they had recently witnessed accidents involving bicycles, which would have been fatal if not for helmets.

Another Redditor highlighted a previous case where six youth cyclists were charged over flouting multiple road rules.

One commenter, on the other hand, was more understanding, saying how we all used to do the “dumbest things” when we were young.

According to the Land Transport Authority, one must always wear a helmet when cycling on roads.

Moreover, cyclists must always ride as close as possible to the far left edge of roads, and allow traffic to overtake them safely.
