If he join DPP, then it will be a major play out and he will push his supporters to vote for KMT instead.

The damaged Ke P done to KMT was huge. That's going to caused KMT to loss a lots of votes in the coming Election.

Whatever damage that you are talking about to KMT, all I can say is that the damage was always caused by KMT themselves. Ke P is insignificant and not able to harm KMT Zhu and Hou.
KMT from the start always had this grand plan of being the leader in the alliance and pull in Terry and Ke P TPP. But the most stupidest thing about KMT and Zhu is that they never realized till this day is that political parties no matter how powerful or how grand their history or legacy is, the power they have are from the people 民意。 KMT can no longer attract young ppl and majority of Taiwanese are sick and tired of KMT old days of corruption and domination hence DPP grew strong but under DPP last 8 yrs many big cases of corruption and injustice causing their own supporters to lose hope and Ke P was also one of those and formed a new force. Ke P supporters are the ones that lost hope in DPP and KMT and it's growing. The more corrupted and dirty Green and blue becomes, the more voters Ke P will gain.
The only down side is that Ke P is not young and if they can't find a successor to take over Ke P it's hard to see that TPP will go far. Time is not on Ke P side

Unless Hou can get a solid VP, he is going to have a hard time cos he will need to rely on his seniors to be his nanny.

Ke P is not helping himself and his party by defaulting on the agreement with KMT.
I think he will just become the TKL of taiwan.
And some of his party members may just walk out from his party.

WL may just win by a slight margin if his opponents cannot get their act right.

Sometimes winning is not all about winning. What is the point of letting kmt win when they are as corrupted as dpp? Kp should fight till the end. If he lose then it’s the fate of Taiwanese. They are the one who vote.

Kp will not gain much if he is the vp. Vp in tw is powerless. If he fight till the end, based on his votes he can still get his people into the parliament.

Still don’t know who is more corrupt. 8 years ago kmt lost because of corruption also. And don’t forget kp was forced into politics because of kmt.

Precisely if he can't even outthink, be more shrew enough to handle KMT Zhu or Hou, how can he managed the country or even face off with XJP. The best part was that he thinks he is very smart and can handle 3 KMT seasoned politicians by himself and that's what caused the failure and him making a fool of himself if he breaks the agreement. KMT Zhu was sly and shrew enough to use only words to make Ke commit into signing the agreement.
And now if TPP and Ke breaks the agreement, he will please his base supporters but it will be hard to convince neutral voters that he is the right one.
He should just acknowledged his political naviety and overlooking the agreement part of 3% or 6% handicap and justmove on.
He was too arrogant and over confident when he said in public he would give KMT Hou 3% advantage, now it backfired on him. He thought he could use this 3% into making KMT back out

Actually Zhu cannot control Hou. Hou is the puppet of someone not from either party. That’s why he was doing well no matter who is ruling. He is not really a real kmt member.
