Actually there's this conspiracy theory amongst senior pro blue and white supporters is that Zhu is trying to destroy Ke and KMT alliance. The reason is that DPP as government is holding on to majority of KMT money and assets due to a change in law Taiwan after DPP came into power. Everytime KMT needs to use their money or assets they need to apply from the ruling government and show reasonable cause. But past few years, there has never been word in the parliament about KMT withdraw money or assets and President Cai and DPP also kept quiet. The rumor is that both parties have agreed in exchange for KMT getting back their assets secretly, they must make sure DPP is still ruling government and also last COVID-19 KMT benefited much money as well .....

If go into Hou history, Ah Bian personally selected Hou as Police Commissioner and Hou was actually close to DPP and few times DPP wanted Hou to be a legislative in their party.

If K-H partnership win presidential election, KP could control the legislature using KMT number.

KP must be the front man to achieve above.

If one to one with William, KP cannot win.

I am having the impression that he is messing the agreement up with his post agreement press conference.
And his declaration to run solo in the rally today.

The KMT supporters will not vote for him.
He is becoming a clown for the past few days after he started to play the victim card with the agreement.

Either he is playing cheem cheem mind game that is unpredictable to his opponents or he is just completely clueless and desperate at the moment.
I am just wondering whether he have everything figured out or he is in panic mode now.

(I am not rooting for any one. Just find that the behavior of Ke P is more damaging than helping himself for the past few days.)

Not chicken out put there is discrepancy. Based on kmt interpretation the result is 5-1. Based on ke p interpretation the result is 3-3. Since he think it is a draw, he has reason to back out.
