Possible that Lai Qing De might fail to win a 2nd term because of the things he had done to the two oppo parties. If the two oppo parties cooperate to send just one team to contest in 2028 and not make it a repeat of the 3-cornered fight in 2024 then there is chance.

reason is simple: most people will have short memory of what happens today when next election comes in 2028. secondly, by 2028 I believe KP party will be uplorry by HGC. Thirdly, KMT with all the 猪队友 and stand too close with china will fail to win the younger voters.

is still very affordable.... i was there end of last year spending 2 weeks self drive in some remote locations outside of city. food, transport, hotel stay etc... are quite reasonable with good service level and quality.

Maybe the CCP are hoping that the continued corruption of the DPP would disgust enough neutral voters to cause a swing that makes DPP out of power?
