Possible that Lai Qing De might fail to win a 2nd term because of the things he had done to the two oppo parties. If the two oppo parties cooperate to send just one team to contest in 2028 and not make it a repeat of the 3-cornered fight in 2024 then there is chance.

The biggest problem is not this.
The biggest problem is that they got all their assets by seize by DPP which makes them very weak at now. They have no choice but to ally with TPP all the time. Back in 2000, the ex-president is actually a traitor who betrayed them. So they need more donation as of now.

Another biggest problem they face as pointed out by 吴董，and I fully agree also, is their close alliance with 中共。the young voters do not buy the idea of too close to China and that is why they will never win the election, 得年轻选票者夺天下！

That's also the reason even as outsider I see liao also don't like them

for what? she is already inactive... if you notice last night protest many of the 立委 never show up... i thought the chariman call for ALL to be there but seem like no one care, a clear sign that KMT has split camps very badly.

In my opinion, Zhu has to resign, he just not combative enough as a party chairman.

The biggest question is: who can is credible to replace him? Zhu has the biggest qualification here in terms of experience and posting. Anyway KMT election is coming soon.
