hsbc quite bad, need to hold around 6mths

is the interest for hsbc low like citigold?

6mths is the norm

think ocbc has shortest period

hsbc interest is not low, can get up to 2.05% on ALTERNATE months (no need spend, insurance target etc ,,, but some conditions)

citigold acq officer promised me $$ in around 3-4mths

yep, citi is quite short too, bcos can delay funding

scb is the longest

having just HSBC CC shld not affect new Premier sign up/welcome awards ie shld still be considered new banking relationship ... best to ask HSBC staff at a Branch, dont trust the CSO on the phone

I got attracted by their promo cash reward and promo interest rate of 2.4 for 12 months.

Anyone can share what is good about SC priority banking

Does the 2.4 p.a. for 12-mth FD stack with the $1500 cash reward for new priority member sign up?

does anyone know if i can put all my funds in HSBC fixed deposit and also become a premier customer? Or the money has to be in the bank account?

FDs qualify

u can also qualify via the "deposit 15k monthly" option when signing up Premier ... but may have lower Welcome Rewards (I think)

I only saw HSBC and CITI Gold having promo
Both are not a good choice. Dont think Citi focus on retail banking anymore (they sold most of their retail business to UOB except Singapore and Hong Kong). Their Citi Gold interest is super low compared to UOB Stash account.
HSBC, too many manual work in the bank. Dont think their IT services is on par with other bank. (However, if you are their customer in Hong Kong, service level is very good).

Does SRS count toward AUM for Privilege banking status?

I’m approaching $100k in my SRS at UOB. Considering Wealth Premium Account since no fall below fee, that is the only feature I find valuable.

Just got my Singsaver Apple Watch and will get the 200 SGD in mid Oct.
My promotion cycle is 1 to 14 March 2022.
Should I cancel my Citigold now? Or have to wait for the 200 SGD to be PayNow-ed?
I have withdrawn all my funds, so conscious of the fall-below fee of SGD 15 if TRB drops below 15K.
