i asked my RM before, its based on 3 referrals per campaign in a promo quarter, not based on total accumulated referrals over entire lifetime

i usually only refer my inner circle of friends, ppl who are asking for referrals here have long list of T&C and drive hard negotiations, so may as well let others do the honour

haha no lah, you are very easy already. Sometimes i see e referral requests here some expect 30:70 split, some turn it into a auction and only accept offers with lowest bids, one even want upfront cash

To me referral is a bonus, if have good for you, if not the 1.5+0.7% plus welcome gift works equally well

guess this saying is true "in hwz every cent counts"

anyone knows if an existing SCB customer (normal tier) can be referred to priority banking for $400 referral incentive? i read the TNC and they said must be new to bank customers but not sure if they are referring to new SCB or SCB PB customers

SCB PB promo is quite good, $1000 for referree and $400 for referral with $200K.

I asked CSO over phone and they say its new to bank customers. But CSO always strictly by the books.

I think if have a direct RM contact, maybe answer would be different (from experience with another bank).

New to bank suggests totally new to the bank. Im not sure if it only excludes existing banking customers, or even existing credit card customers are excluded.

For standard, if you have their credit card, you are not considered a new customer. Went there and found out.

New to bank suggests totally new to the bank. Im not sure if it only excludes existing banking customers, or even existing credit card customers are excluded.

1. Must allow singapore shares to be considered as AUM. (transfer out from CDP to bank's custody)
2. Good online trading platform, with a focus on singapore shares (stable, cheap commission)
3. Good rates (FX, TT, transfer from and to CDP, no hidden costs etc)
4. Travel benefits (lounges etc)
5. Award status to both account holder IF joint account.

Total Aum max 1.5m

So far looking at DBS treasures private (1.5) and SCB (0.2, for their VI card). Mainly for their platform.
Anything else to explore?

DBS private client AUM is $1.5M but they need you to be accredited investor with $2M assets. Unless you have your AUM in stocks or bonds, else cash holdings has zero percent yield. Good thing is their welcome promo is good, $6000+. i prefer SCB Priority banking, it fulfill most of your conditions
