Which of the banks allow you to count other related services (i.e. sensible investments, mortgage, ... any others?) as part of AUM?

Examples from what I know. (please correct if I'm wrong)

SCB priority status AUM includes the amount you invest in their online trading platform (which is one of the cheapest in Singapore), or alternatively $1.5m in housing loans.

DBS Treasures includes investments via DBS Online Equity Trading (the one that is custodised by DBS, not the one that is traded via DBS Vickers)

Does anyone know about UOB? Is UOB KayHian / UTradeRobo counted (fat hope, I guess)? How about mortgages?

Stan Chart and HSBC allow you to become PB customer based on your housing mortgage.
HSBC easiest. I am not aware of other banks that allow it.

The perks of being a Citigold customer is to earn additional miles from Prestige cards.

CitiGold relationship bonus for Prestige card is on step up basis starting with 1.3 miles per dollar spent (0-5 years 15%, 6-10 years 20%, >10 years 30%). Whereas OCBC Voyage for Premier Customer is 1.6 miles per dollar spent from day one. It takes more than 10 years relationship for CitiGold to reach 1. 56 miles ( 1.3 + 30%).

Kay Hian holdings not counted. As for mortgage, not really sure but I highly doubt so.

Any idea what is considered under AUM for OCBC Premier Banking? Is investment under SRS included in AUM for OCBC Premier Banking?

Hi kevinbox,

SRS investments are considered as eligible AUM for Premier Banking.

If you have further questions on this, please feel free to drop us a PM.

Why my RM told me no??

Can it be because my SRS was invested with a 3rd party insurance company before I became OCBC Premier client?

SRS investments in equities via OCBC Securities can be considered as AUM?

Hi all,

Eligible Assets Under Management (AUM) for premier banking:

•includes investments and deposits
•includes SRS cash balances and SRS investments with OCBC
•excludes investments in Blue Chip Investment Plan (BCIP)
•excludes Shares held in OCBC Securities

If you require further clarification on this, could you drop us a PM with your query, as well as your contact details?

260Wolskel, could you also PM us with your relationship manager name, so that we could check on the matter?

Thank you.

Am I right that even including welcome gifts and referral fees, most priority accounts opening actually make losses, since need to keep such big sums for 6 months? Ie even putting elsewhere in savings with 1.5% will give higher returns? So the motivation probably more for lounges.
