Hi I'm interested in getting citigold, SCB of HSBC - can split referral fees with someone if you PM me

SCB - the brokerage fees are the lowest right? but the sign on bonus isn't great - only krisflyer miles

For those on Citigold - any reviews? they seem to offer a lot of sign on

HSBC - any reviews? Sign on is $400 which is not bad, but roadshow sign up gets you taka vouchers and none are scheduled

100k kfm is only worth 2k sgd max. 1 year yield not even 1%.

300k trade dlc, sgs bonds, t bills, or place into any large cap s reits also better

minimum holding period is T + 3 months (not 12 months), so the yield should be higher ...

anyways, my comments were referring to priority programs & perks, not meant to compare with alternative investments.

Any idea on which priority banking program offers the best working-lounge experience? Will occasionally work from home and fancy a fairly quiet place around the east. Too many students at nearby Starbucks/McDonald's and don't work offsite enough to justify looking at Wework.

Same, never like place like Starbucks/McDonald's too. Too many students and worse, they makes lots of noise. Sometime do not know if they are doing school work or playing there.

Guys, not sure if I should be unhappy about this. I am a uob privilege account holder for the HYA promotion, and this month, i received statements with “privilege reserve” logo, and a welcome folder from uob privilege reserve. It seems as that i have been auto enrolled into privilege reserve. I received a service call from uob last week, but could not talk much becoz there were outsiders in the car and i am on speaker - probably a call to tell me about the enrolment.

I could have ‘earned’ a sum from referral fees into privilege reserve, but now seems like the lobang gone already.

Does such auto enrolment happen frequently? It will be lame on me if i kick a fuss out of it to get myself out of privilege reserve, and then join back only few mths later (for the referral fees)

I guess they feel this category of clients don’t really need referral gain. You can talk to them since they only enrol clients with $2mil networth

If you have someone who can refer you to privilege reserve and meet their 2m requirements, then worth asking them for the referral fee ex post.

But they do upgrade client from privilege to privilege reserve status only without the benefits even if you don't have 2m. If you will only get the benefit after you meet their 2m requirements.

I got more than $2M. So i should ask for the welcome benefits? But the benefit is a referral benefit, ie given to the person who brought in the client, not sure how this can work out when technically nobody referred me in

Because someone in UOB earn the referral fee! Never like these call as unable to identify their true Identity.
