Anyway the ban was already expected since Trump's Presidency, so it's nothing new.

Because everything that China does is bad while everything America does is good

US companies are not beholden to the US government. They have laws protecting privacy etc.

Not the same for China government. They can compel Chinese companies to hand over information, data etc. What the US is afraid of, is the Chinese government having access to this data in the future.
