what happened?
very briefly (cos I am intending to create a thread sometime)
- asus mb screws up on me twice
-each time exchanged a new mb (which is imo the bare minimum)
- each time screw up must diagnose for a few freaking hours - im sure you know how frustrating it is to try and find the error and you cant fix it
-when finally decide to disconnect everything and rma must spend another 2 hrs removing everything (and must later reassemble)
-each time travel 2 hr round trip to BL
-finally I buay tahan say look give me a upgrade for a token amt (offered to pay 70 to move from v gene to v formula was refused outright - bear in mind this board has been released for two years already)
-at least JK from Asus came down to my place to help me RMA and he was very helpful, but was told that Asus and BL policy prevented them from doing more.
All this while got small kids getting high end components absolutely free, while I pay for all my stuff and waste all my time for faulty components without even any compensation or recognition for my time and trouble.
Just so all of you know what you are getting into before you go Asus....
