I don’t have a crystal ball but I urge ppl to plan long term. Not next year, not 2 years but longer. Just like work, you won’t want to choose a job that pays u $300k a year then next year jobless right? You will go for one that pay u consistent $200k a year for next 20 years. Correct?
Life is a marathon. Don’t this year earn $400k then 5 years later bankrupt. People judge ur whole journey from birth to death. Invest safe…

Buy this EC, got cash to buy car also no parking lot.

But I can understand the strong appeal of this EC. Near 3 future MRT Stations.

Nope the lot is around 80%, thus there was some comments around this.

The matter of fact is this is an issue for some as they risk the possibility of not having a carpark to park their car and have to park elsewhere if they drive back without lot.

On the otherhand, there are others who already expressed that they do not have a car and not planning so this doesnt impact them as much.

At the end of the day its dependent on individual and slowly more condos will start to have <100% lots where I think this is happening for smaller projects although for those projects alot are probably expat who doesnt even need to have a carpark lot to begin with.

Aiyah… just stick to resale hdb and invest the spare cash on other instruments.. problem solve. No need to worry about bank rates etc.. can travel round the world in first class and stay in 5* hotels x100
You are right, just stick with resale HDB. Especially the modest 1000sqft 4-room type at Pinnacle@Duxton only $1.37m, leaving you with lots of $$$ to travel the world and . . . .

Wait, this Tengah EC 1012 sqft 3-bedders (second highest floor) is priced at $1.33m.
Buy which one got spare cash hah ?

Those without car. Any discount on the maintenance fee?

Do not think there will be such discounts as nothing is stopping people from getting a car. And carpark lots from my understanding will be on first come "to reach home" first serve...

I do not stay in city... so I cannot comment much... D:

But I guess as long as you have a way to rent it out then sure.. But often condo will restrict parking of cars only for residents..

I thought each unit 1 carpark lot?
Honestly I thought so too until I read one of the comments here and then checked the facts on the finer details.

639 units
516 carpark spaces

Means if 516 units get 1 carpark space each, 123 units will not get any.
Visitors parking lots, too bad.

I'm actually highly interested on how this new car lite town will turn out, or any of new designated car lite estates.
