【吉灾区275搜救员筛检过关 停泊岛1124岛民大筛检】​

吉打铅县日前山洪爆发，引发大水灾。州卫生局过后对于在灾区参与搜救行动的275名各机构成员进行新冠肺炎筛检，全部呈阴性反应，不过有28名灾民确诊。 另外，随着登嘉楼停泊岛发现75宗新冠肺炎确诊病例，州卫生局自上个星期五开始，为岛上的1124名岛民筛检，今天下午预计完成大约7成的筛检工作。

Summary of local situation

• As of 26 August 2021, 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed and verified that there are 112 cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection and 4 imported cases.
• 343 cases are currently warded in hospital. Most are well and under observation. There are currently 17 cases of serious illness requiring oxygen supplementation, and 7 in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).
• Over the last 28 days, the percentage of unvaccinated who became severely ill or died is 9.7%, while that for the fully vaccinated is 1.4%.
• As of 25 August 2021, 79% of our population has completed their full regimen/ received two doses of COVID-19 vaccines, and 83% has received at least one dose.
