My entire balance are in SA and MA, don’t think I have any benefit.

How can you say that? Your entire balance is benefitting no less than 4%. I wish I can have all my balance in SA and MA only.

Your RA interest goes to the CPF life common pool, which you never going to smell or touch

You SA interest on the other hand you can withdraw and enjoy

care to share how RA interest goes to CPF life and cannot touch?
if 176k at 55yo, at age 67yo cpf life kicks in. Assuming I opt for basic at 88k, the balance of 88k and interest cannot withdraw? :(
Then where the money goes?

RA monies is used to pay (in lump sum) when your policy is incepted for CPF LIFE. The interest earned on the annuity premiums will be paid to the Lifelong Income Fund and pooled together with the interest of all CPF LIFE participants. The interest will be paid to you as part of your monthly payouts for as long as you live.

Does it means that if ones haven't met the minimum sum required, then he or she will not benefit from this hack?

TS talks alot of rubbish here!

Do I have to repeat this?

His article is also considered "rubbish", with a title "fullly explained" he did not address 4Wifes+Husband :s13:

He cannot even explain completely here nor in the article: Who should do the shield, Why do u want to shield, When is the best time to do, Where and How to do it best!

Lorna Tan already posted her experience in Sunday Times article yesterday, just read her article to understand! Ignore TS' blog!

Someone already corrected one part of his article.

Now Uncle Henry is questioning his understanding on CPF Life :s13:

Lorn Tan's article

Do you mean if an individual has not met FRS amount in RA? If individuals pledge their property or for CPF to put a property charge on your house, you would only need to meet BRS amount in RA.

Can someone explain this to me please?
Why can't we just transfer OA to SA and not have to do this shielding thing?
What am I missing?

Its because you can only transfer OA to SA till SA hits FRS and not more.

If u cannot fund your RA to FRS at 55, dun waste time and risk losing money shielding SA and/or OA
