Achievable if you transfer OA to SA at the early stage of your working life.

Early 20s I found it far from sight. Judging from the annual increase, I am expecting perhaps around $340~$370k for SA FRS.

So I worked backwards, how much would I need to have in SA then to reach FRS in future provided everything remains constant; where pay remains stagnant and FRS always increasing. A very conservative approach taken.

Hence I wiped out my OA to SA in my mid 20s. Fortunately I worked my ass off during part time days.

By the time I am 55 and still alive, with the same low pay I currently bring back, should be able to reach the minimum sum by 55.

Good reference. filed for reference

How to get married and have bto if keep transfer OA to SA? Most young couple would married around mid 20 to early 30

Many would disagree with me, but I firmly think that HDB loan is good though some would prefer to pay using cash (bank loan). I would absolutely take HDB loan when I am able to get a BTO in the future. Reason being, it is cheap loan. Not all loan are bad. Leverage is good if you don't over leverage.

Small head, don't wear big hat. Get an affordable flat at Sembawang or Punggol. Some peers I know bought their 1st home in the north and it is dirt cheap. Since it is quite a norm now that the couple would be contributing to the mortgage, so your liability would be halved.

Max your loan period. So many are crying foul of the accrued interest. If you are not flipping your residential place, you should not be harping on it. If you do sell lower than the total accrued, it is not necessary for you to pay it back. Also, HPS is a big plus point and ability to pay lump sum to reduce your loan without penalty.

If your OA contribution is $1000 and your monthly liability is $600, transfer the balance out to SA. (l would recommend putting a buffer in your OA e.g. $20k for bad times).

Moi think this is debt trap... CPF accrued interest, loan interest, inflation and opportunity cost of foregoing SA interest

BRS min. amt is 90.5k. monthly payout 750-810
FRS min. amt is 181k. Monthly payout 1390-1490
ERS min. amt is 271.5k. Mthly payout 2030-2180

If FRS is 2 x BRS, and ERS is 3 x BRS, then why the payout for FRS and ERS are lesser than 3x, while min. amt for both are 3x?

Payouts should be:
BRS min. amt is 90.5k. monthly payout 750-810
FRS min. amt is 181k. Monthly payout 1500-1620
ERS min. amt is 271.5k. Mthly payout 2250-2430

Why are payouts for FRS and ERS lesser ah??

Actuarial reasons..
Payout for ERS cannot be 3x payout for BRS for the simple reason that it is a pooled scheme and they will always err on the side of caution..
