how is the drivers and interface? should be not irritating siol?

for entry level speakers to enjoy higher fidelity sound, can start with aego M or swans m50w. swans for larger fuller sound, aego M for take up smaller desk space.

for headphones, can shop at amazon for better value. try akg q701, right now only about S$300 direct shipped to your home in 2-3weeks. these were high end cans but now older models.
other brands like beyer dt880/990 or sennheiser hd600 or audio tech ad700. either of these are a major stepup in sound quality with your zxr now.

but remember the seller must be amazon and not 3rd party.

Headsphones can try mmx300 or the cheaper custom one pro with plug in mic. speakers can't think of any except my ATP3 which has EOL...hehe.

THD is the most bank for buck at the moment.
if you listening to music or movies or games, and want to enjoy audio boost, should buy a sound card. hehe.

Get the Zxr. Or if you want more for music and don't mind external sound card can give the surround sound 5.1 premium a try.

Which one give better sound quality among akg q701 n beyer dt880/990?
Found that beyer dt880/990 have variety of impedance (32,80,250,600 ohm).
Which impedance suits more for creative zxr?
Need advice from pros here..

If THD cost S$199 and ZxR cost S$299. I will pick THD anytime, but that's me.

After these few months listening to THD, though it sounds good, but I still preferred EMU 1820m or 0404 USB sound signature, too bad they spoiled liao.

My Sound Blaster Digital Music Premium HD still can download win 8 drivers and stuffs.

I am not sure if Stereo has any iFi product to loan, if they do, take a listen to iFi iDAC as I see u preferred external sound device.

Absolutely amazing to know that sound cards survive till this age....and people willing to apy hundreds for them...when a motherboard can cost just under $150.

Long gone the days, when I think SB blaster was a must have. I recalled I first had a sound card called, Mediamagic, then SB Awe32, then SB audigy...then no more then they dont work in dunno windows xp or windows 2000....

Dun have good ears like many here. cheapo onboard sound is for me...
