I think super x-fi is overhyped. Yes, there will be people buying the dongle, but the interest will not be huge or sensational. Take the example of the video tape battle between Sony's Betamix and Panasonic's VHS. Betamix is superior in terms of quality but eventually the low cost, acceptable quality VHS became dominant and was the industry standard. Story will be the same for Super x-fi. Why pay US$150 for the sound I don't really need when those ear pieces available in the market at much lower prices are already good enough! This is so easy to analyse. Sure stock price will go up but those expecting huge jumps will be disappointed!

It depends on how accurate is the sound profiling (thru mobile app) and how well Creative market the product. As a gadget guy, I wouldn't mind spending $200 to improve my headphone quality but then if I was told that I need to buy expensive headphone (noise cancel headphone) in order to have the full effect then that is a No No for me.

If i rem correctly... they selling the dongle for $150. U can use any headphone. But if someone already paid $150 most properly he will not use a cheapo headphone . They will buy exp good one to have best of the best effect.
